I'm a little confused I leveled up in New Vegas and it gave me 11 points and I used them and thought one of the items I used the points on was 25 but then when I looked at my totals it showed 22. *scratches head in confusion*

Good, the perk should unlock some dialogue with a few ladies.

(Try to aim for 6/8 charisma too, I kinda recall it was useful for a few dialogues and to buff up companions)

Effects of chems? I will check, is there a way of fixing that? Wow, I'm such a noob. My learning curve on this game is really huge.

If you have developed an addiction, visit a doctor and they should fix you up (of course, you have to pay, nothing is free in the wasteland). There should also be items that makes addictions go away, but I might misremember. ^^;

Yeah, don't drink dirty water unless there's no other way to survive: there are plenty of stimpacks and clean water around, use those first.

The woman I went on a date yesterday just texted me to say that I'm no longer allowed to play the field. Because we are officially dating and she isn't taking no for answer. Her idea of a perfect day is a vintage car show, lunch at a bbq place, a trip to a tattoo shop and the day ending at a heavy metal, punk or rockabilly show.
