So, I don't know if anyone else has realised this (and it could just be a coincidence) but before we knew Josephine's name Lukas posted a Fratellis song saying that it reminded him of Sera. A woman named 'Josephine' is mentioned in quite a few Fratellis songs.

Why does Sera always look so sad in every bit of media we see her in? Is it the shape of her face? Or is something CRAWLING IN MY SKIN, THESE WOUNDS, THEY WILL NOT HEEEAAAL

My only complaint with Sera is still the fact that her face seems off in proportion. Maybe it's too droopy or depressed-looking and doesn't match her arrogant and confident attitude, I don't know. I watched some gameplay recently though and I can already tell I'll like her personality-wise, though.
