not me oddly enough i get poisoned yeah but the are at most a itch since i plan ahead... i can hear them a mile awayAnything but a high level, you are gone. They poison you and they attack really f*cking fast so your health just pours out of you... it's quite annoying, especially in the early game when, if you go left outside Goodsprings, you stumble on them fairly quickly.

Fallout 3 had a weaker story and there was less to do with the stuff lying around, but I liked the dirtier aspect of the landscape. My favorite quest from the game was the involving a violin. My Lone Wanderer spent hours listening to that radio station while riding the high of med-x.
Speaking of med-x, the only reason I play Dead Money anymore is for that vending machine. So many drugs! Pity jet wasn't invented then. Of course it would have made the game ridiculously broken.

it will more skyrim imoIt was Bethesda, so I wasn't exactly expecting much of a story.. turned out better than I thought. But I think Obsidian improved on it.
I wonder if that new Fallout will just be more of Bethesda's style, or if they might borrow from what Obsidian brought to it.

You can buy primer packs that give you powder and lead that you can use with empty cases from shots you fired to recycle your ammo. Breaking down ammo of a type you don't use can also give you materials for ammo you do use.
Yep! Armor needs to be repaired. If you boost your repair skill to 90, you can pick the 'jury rigging' perk that allows you to repair items with others of the same type. Light armor is the best choice because you can fix it with regular clothes and any other type of light armor (which most human enemies use)
To repair the robot in Primm, you either need some spare parts (the game tells you what you need) or a sufficiently high repair or science (I forget which) skill.
I actually made bullets once, although I wasn't sure how at the time. Got to remember primer packs and lead.
I hope it's science unlike me, my courier is pretty good with science. I'll look to see what I need for the robot.

I usually exploit a glitch to max out all my skills, but when I don't I always max out medicine, science, repair and whatever weapon I'm using. Max out the luck stat for those sweet criticals and it's all good. Mind, when I don't use the glitch I hunt down the skill books like a mad woman and take the 'voracious reader' perk. It allows you to turn damaged books into blank magazines that you can use to duplicate magazines you have.

the american dream right
Im curious to hear dani HC now
My courier is still trying to figure out who she is, at first she was kind of meek and unsure of herself but she started to get a little full of herself after taking down the powder gangers almost single handedly with a shotgun saving Goodsprings. Since then she's found that her newly found aggressiveness has gotten her into much trouble. Still trying to see whether she will be good or not, she has found out that stealing is fun. I'll have to update when she finds herself.

Any more exploits cat i need more
There are two that I like: this one. The other one is with the two 'special' perks you can pick with Doc Mitchell. Pick the 'skilled' one. It gives +5 to all skills. When you leave Goodsprings, you get the option to rebuild your character. Do so and select the 'skilled' perk again. The bonus will stack, for +10 total. You can reselect it again in OWB for a total of +15 in all skills.
If you use the Chet perks glitch, level until you are at least level 20. Then you can pick all 10 levels of the 'Intense Training' perk (make sure you get intelligence and endurance to 9). The loot you got from Chet will sell for a bundle, which you can use to buy all the implants from the New Vegas Clinic.
With that, I ended up with 100 in all skills, 9 strength (6 from Intense training, 7 from the implant and 9 from OWB.), 7 perception, 10 endurance, 10 intelligence, 10 luck and 7 agility.
Nothing stands a chance against me! (cheating, but cheating is fun!)

Not if you do all the side content, as usual with a sandbox. The side content is pretty fun too!
I always get the warm fuzzies from that injured NCR trooper calling me 'doc' after I patch him up. In fact I love being a doctor in this game. There are quite a few patients you can help.

Doesn't he also lose a hand? I like helping the NCR. Especially Private Morales. Awesome unmarked quest.
Collecting all the unique weapons, draining all the casinos, getting all the special clothes... This game is a pack rat's wet dream! Old World Blues is especially awesome for that. Turn all the junk into something useful!
I love to decorate my homes too. Ammo boxes, weapons (ordinary ones. The uniques go into a locker.
), food. I also make it a point to display casino chips and the various currencies on a table somewhere. Trophies!

A good shotgun does the trick, particularly the Riot Shotgun. Or Boone.

My main prob with fallout in general is the color. Boring environments compared to a lot of sci-fi/fantasy.
