make a lonly shep in me1 tgen go jackmance me2/3 simple

I don't really have the patience or interest in replaying very long games, I'm discovering.  I doubt I'll ever go very far in any other DAI PTs I start, for example.  One version of reality might be enough for me, and once a given version of a protagonist gets into my head I can't really get my head around any others.

This is another thing I like too. The actress captures it so well.

Kind of re-apreciating Juhani atm, since I'm replaying Kotor. Same actress.

yup courtney taylor ftw

Well, this might be a rather liberal interpretation, but if Sera is on something of a journey of discovery with the Inquisition, and she both wants to learn truths about the world and about herself... that's something that my Inquisitor can understand and appreciate, given the Dalish quest for knowledge. If Sera's intentions are still pure, I can overlook this for the time being.

That's about how I ended up looking at it Xil when I romanced her as an elf.

What a bad time to run out of likes, thanks for making me feel better. :)

I am having fun though. :) One of these years I may actually become adequate at this game. :)

I think you're adequate enough, since you're having fun. :)

I didnt enjoy FO3 i felt really constrained and that ending was just really after all that... well f-u dad

Eh, at least they fixed the nonsensical ending with the Broken Steel dlc, which also added the nice feature of allowing you to keep playing after the main story is done.

It was Bethesda, so I wasn't exactly expecting much of a story.. turned out better than I thought. But I think Obsidian improved on it.

I wonder if that new Fallout will just be more of Bethesda's style, or if they might borrow from what Obsidian brought to it.

Obsidian never gets enough credit, they are actually quite good at writing stories imho.

My courier is still trying to figure out who she is, at first she was kind of meek and unsure of herself but she started to get a little full of herself after taking down the powder gangers almost single handedly with a shotgun saving Goodsprings. Since then she's found that her newly found aggressiveness has gotten her into much trouble. Still trying to see whether she will be good or not, she has found out that stealing is fun. I'll have to update when she finds herself.

Nothing relevant to add, I just like this post very much.

That's about how I ended up looking at it Xil when I romanced her as an elf.

I did that mostly because I wasn't having any satisfaction with looking for dramatic themes related to faith or the preservation of one's people, so I decided to build my PC primarily around the acquisition of knowledge. I still don't think I get a chance to ask enough questions to Morrigan about the Eluvians...

@Dani, I downloaded the first ep of Life is Strange, gotta get around to playing it though.

Jack was my big disappointment in ME2, I still don't have the Paramour (is that right?) achievement in that game.

Hope you like Life is Strange, Chloe though. played it three times still missed stuff. Had to use the collector mode to get some achievements.

its more a play on the brothers's grim tales and how today they are less "grim" and how you like mundane themes but you have "magic" in your screenname which is typically not "mundane". So through a convoluted process

You are deemed grim by me :P

Cool... umm... I like the way your mind works.

Isn't there a new tv show about them? I haven't seen it. Saw the Heath Ledger movie though.

My name is a little mundane and arcane.

Well, I might finally have found a way to tolerate Sera's idiocy with the breakup conversation, but it required a lot of hard thinking.

Is it really idiocy? The Dalish may think the deities they worship are Gods but like Morrigan says, "What does that even mean?"

From what we know about them Sera could be correct about pegging them as demons or spirits. Solas implies that their either that or powerful mages. And from what we've seen and heard about the Gods they do share a few similarities with Fade beings;

- They lived in the Fade. Spirits/Demons are the only other native creatures that live in the Fade.

- When Mythal was "killed" she was reduced to a fragment of herself.  Spirits/Demons also become fragments of their former selves when destroyed, becoming wisps.

- Mythal fused with Flemeth. What is the only other type of beings capable of such a thing. Yep, Spirits and Demons. She even screams about Justice which is highly familiar.

- The Gods embodied archetypes, emotions and themes, like love and vengeance. Spirits and Demons do the exact same thing.

That list isn't exactly decisive proof that their not Gods (whatever the hell that means in this universe), but it's not as if the accusation that their demons is completely unfounded, especially once Mythal/Flemeth shows up and reveals things about her nature.

Honestly, though after Flemythal refuses to give a direct goddamn explanation as to why she couldn't reveal herself to her people and instead replies with her typical vague horsecrap about "what was lost can never be returned" I would probably consider the whole pantheon a bunch of arsehole demons too. I mean seriously, your god who've your people have been worshiping for centuries wouldn't even respect you enough to give you a straightforward answer after everything you've been through... I don't even think she apologized not being there to stop all the horrors that have faced the elves after the fall of Arlathan.

Ugh.

The Dalish don't need them anyway. Them and the Maker are no better then nobles, always punching down and getting little people killed in their damned internal squabbles.

****'em all I say.

Some games push too it much though... imho.

Some of the JRPGs can get to the 100+ levels.
