For a while my hype for Sera had left... And then out of nowhere a few days ago it has return. Sera

She'll be my second playthrough romance

I really hope I find Sera as awesome as I expect because I've only liked one f/f romance so far and that makes me sad.

 

I also hope she's not gated against humans, but I can work something else out if that happens.

What I find interesting is that I believe the Devs will say 'you'll either like or hate her on your first meeting, and you can choose whether or not to hire her there'. Personally I don't find her that engaging or interesting based on the scraps of dialogue we've got so far, but I do find it interesting that they said that. Must be a very 'controversial' introduction, maybe some vigilantism.

However, I doubt I'll not-recruit anyone on my first playthrough even if I hate them

Especially if you roll a human Inquisitor. Sera doesn't care much for nobles or other powerful organizations but if she develops feelings for the Inquisitor things might get interesting.

I don't think she'll really like any Inquisitor at first (esp humans).

 

But that's not the same as saying she'll be race-gated (I don't think she will be).

I don't think Sera will be race gated - I think Cullen is the most likely one out of the announced LIs, and then Cassandra. Hope you get your dwarf.

Who ever the race gates are I see Dwarfs and Qunari getting the shaft in them, I don't see Dorian or Sera being gated cause of their popularity and you know Bioware knew they would get a huge fanbase, so I see either the unannounced 2 being the race gates or Cass and Cullen being race gated because of their morals or opinions on certain races

Popularity doesn't really play a factor when Bioware works on LIs
