when did i say i didnt like it hahathen dont complain....and endure the pervy Title !
Ya know..ya look like this when ya think it
i get that(in theory since havent exp your exp) it does dredge up some issues i have but it helps me to discuss them(catharis i guess) as for the users posting as fact... think thats just people being asshats
i can honestly imagine that. When your release isnt a release its a rusthole. Idk what i can say aside from find things that give you that same release be it here or elsewhere. Public forums always attract the "morally/ethically dubious" sortsbut you know i live this and this board originally served as a disconnect or distraction...just as gaming in general does. now it just....doesn't.
i've had to step away from communities i loved because of stuff like that (comics related mostly) and its really frustrating to see something that was a needed escape sour into something that's painful. i have never really felt comfortable on this forum (maybe a few threads, sure, but overall, wary as heck) but it definitely has intensified for me in the past few months, this entire dragon age fandom really, not just here. idk. anyway, nods and

Can't be bothered to do catch up.
F*ck it! We'll do it live!

So, I'm gonna go with my favourite image, the leaning in one because waiting for everyone to come online "and not say" which is better is just annoying me now. I've got other projects to do and this is taking up much more time than I had wanted to give it. I'll still work on the typography but it's going to be an afternoon job sometime over the weekend probably.
Sorry poodle... did mean ti take up so much of your time... apologies we'll handle the rest
You don't have to be sorry. This is what is going to happen in the real world for me at one point or another. I'm gonna have to get used to it because it's going to happen.
But I do have deadlines coming up so I want to get this out of the way pretty quickly.
Ah! Only a week until Life is Strange episode 2! ![]()
Thanks to that game, I can't stop listening to this song. ![]()
no no i mean if it was ever on the table i would....i'm....
Why does it have to be on a table?

Dalish elves seem to be one of those subjects, like for example communism and capitalism in the real world, where any attempt to give some sort of nuanced opinion is drowned out by those shouting from one extreme or the other...
I think most topics turn into that if they get enough people talking about them. You get idiots breaking down complex issues like accessibility in games to simple rules like 'complexity is always good' which then causes them to laugh at anyone who suggest games could be *gasp* easier to learn.
Chevalier and Gaspard / Celene discussions can get pretty gnarly but fewer people seem to get involved. Communism / Capitalism probably sits in a special sweet spot for the ratio of people who know the basic source of conflict compared to people who actually understand the terms though.
I guess Dalish superfan was little mean. Sorry if I offended you. I guess I was talking about these forum goers who excuse every negative thing that the Dalish do and think Bioware has some kind of vendetta against them. That's probably not you, I think.
Well, Bioware does have a vendetta against them, or something like it, and I've had to engage in interpretation probably not intended by the writers to lessen the impact.
The quest for knowledge shouldn't be shrouded in mysticism and ritual all of which is gatekeeped by alien beings that demand vainglorious worship for anyone to obtain such knowledge. I mean seriously, did I really have to do that stupid prayer to Mythal to get my pet dragon? Oh well. You're right though, the quest for knowledge is important especially in regards to looking ahead for a better future. Sera should be able to see that and get over her prejudice and fears.
Really, I think Sera's problem with all the Dalish magic/religion stuff is that all the useful wisdom in it is wrapped up around a bunch of scary mysticism and weirdness. Now if Dagna explained it all scientifically using alchemy and runes, stuff that non-mages can use, then maybe she wouldn't be so terrified.
She is a Tempest after all, and is totally fine with semi-magically substances that aren't danger to anyone but the user and can't possibly summon demons.
But nonmages can't use it. At least not, well, magic.

I don't see it that way. They show great preference for elves (and by extension Dalish) in the underpinnings of the whole setting. So many events and mythology connected to them somehow. Or whatever you want to call it. Dragon's Age's "monomyth". It's probably got a lot to do with elves.
Even when diminishing them in the present world. elves still matter.
its another m. Night shaylamn film its... you gotta be a diehard fan to enjoy it... he can do sixth sense and signs well but that was pretty iffy
I thought The Village was pretty okay?
The ending killed it for me. I was actually enjoying it up until that ridiculous twist.

I was not surprised by the twist. I thought it was not a bad film but it wasn't great either. There was something off about it. Couldn't put my finger on it though. My friend when we saw it remarked "this is just a bad Twilight Zone episode!" Maybe it felt like something best left for television?
