oh we having a gas mileage talk againNo. You go out of your way for quality, not settle for what's near.
I'd rather pay the extra mileage to go out of town than get what passes for a cannoli at pizza hut.

Yeah, I'm an ugly American. Can't even get Italian singular/plural right... I stand corrected.
It's the thought that counts though, right? ![]()

No, use the correct form. ![]()

I feel the need to be nitpicky, though: "a cannoli" makes absolutely no sense from a grammatical point of view; since "cannoli" is plural (cannolo being the singular), you should say "some cannoli".
Oh! I thought the treat was a cannoli! Now don't I feel silly!
But it looks lovely so I both love and hate you Arti. I'll visit you one summer! ![]()

No, use the correct form.
Wait.. using the correct form is more important than enjoying a good pastry?
I don't know if I'm taste buds agree. I'll endeavor to improve though.

Be prepared to gain some weight if you do, we have lots of nice food around here.

As I said in my edit, I was being facetious. Part of me dies when I see italian words used in the wrong form, though.

I figured. But understand too. The bad thing is that I kind of knew this..the plurality difference.. but still goofed.

(also be warned that summer here can be quite hot, up to 40o C, sometimes more)

It's ok, I just like to be overly dramatic in my nitpicking; no harm done, seriously. ![]()

You do not want regularly -30 degrees celcius.

I think I do. I daydream of moving to Greenland. Building a cabin. Even though they have a high suicide rate.... ahem.

Passionfruit! ![]()
Edit: During my trip to Maui last year, I encountered a lot of Lilikoi. I didn't realize it was passionfruit (which I was already obsessed with) at first. I found this Lilikoi cheesecake that I immediately became obsessed with.

Passionfruit is a treasure among fruits. And those look like red currants! I've only ever had black currant, so now I'm going to have to hunt to find passionfruit and red currant to pair together. The idea intrigues me.
Oh, that would be really good with some Extra Brut Rose.
