A cavoletti pizza. It's white sauce and the toppings are roasted brusselsprouts, walnuts, dates, and prosciutto.

Yeah, the outside skin is rough, so you peel them, pop out the seed in the centre and eat the white fruit. 

... they were lying on the ground... and were fun to kick. also the insides were more... yellowy-orange in colour.

I can eat an entire cavoletti and go for a run afterwards.
