then you must hate salsaI want to say "it's the texture" or "they're, like, mould ,man!" but my truest answer is just "I don't like them". And I'm too chicken to try them again!
(and I really don't like the texture)
Tomatoes... I don't mind as sauce, as little lumps in sauce, or soup, but any bit larger than, say, a bean is a no-no, and as for raw chunks or slices, definitely not.
Just like you can't make me eat something barbaric like a pizza with fruit and bacon on it.
You're in for quite the tour, each region has its very own specialties that you won't find anywhere else (and some of those specialties may vary a bit depending on which area of a region you find yourself in).
One day I'm inviting y'all to a dinner party.I want to say "it's the texture" or "they're, like, mould ,man!" but my truest answer is just "I don't like them". And I'm too chicken to try them again!

No, but I would hope if I showed up with a hot pizza you'd do me the honour of trying a bite. Feel free to spit it out after and tell me you were right.
I think I'd just pass and offer you some arancine as a token of peace. ![]()

Nah, clearly they lack the refinement of regal Canis Lupus such as myself. I however would love to eat some of these amazing meals.I need to cook for you one day.

Pizza with real mozzarella (not the processed crap), pancetta, Italian wild mushrooms, basil leaves, caramelized cipollini onions, roasted garlic and a homemade sauces. All of that on top of a simple flat bread. That is my ideal pizza and it is closer to a real pizza than most pizza you can get here in the states. Half the time when I make it, I don't put any sauce on it. Just some quality olive oil.

Totally on poiny about the tomatoes though!
I would definitely be up for a Sera Thread Big Banquet Of Awesome-ivity. Logistically, however, I fear we may be stuck regarding venue and transportation.... but Food Tuesday will substitute well enough till then! ![]()

I love Old Rock, Punk, New Wave, Rocknroll, Jazz, Classical and I also like Country and Western. But what they call "Country" these days is a mutilated form of watered-down souless pop with a drawl. It's the same with R&B. I can love R&B from 1944-1980's but past that it's a shell of what it was. Over-produced, over-souled, and rather sad. I guess the thing with Country and R&B is the same problem: They used to "swing" and now they don't.
It's not Hank Williams or Lavern Baker anymore I guess.

Just copy the video url
Can't beat a classic.
luckyWe have a restaurant that makes an incredible very different style lasagna and another restaurant that makes a terrific more traditional lasagna, well at least traditional for this area. The area I mentioned before The Hill is where toasted Ravioli was invented if you believe people here.
For Pizza I love Italian sausage and pepperoni toppings the most.
Artie, you're terrible but I love you anyways.
Sorry Cap, but fruit on a pizza is a big nono for me. And I'm not that terrible, if I were I wouldn't offer you arancine. ![]()
what's the outside made of?
It's a coating of fried breadcrumbs.
I love pop!
how pop-y are we talking here?
We are talking about Marina And The Diamonds, specifically the release of FROOT, album #3. Here are two quite different vids from that album.
Idiosyncratic, opinionated, Greek/Welsh singer-songwriter self-taught pianist pop star. I like her. Seen her live twice and I simply don't go to gigs at all.
I also have some awesome acoustic versions of tracks from the previous album, Electra Heart, lined up somewhere too. But it seems one can only post two "will play here" vids before the rest become just flat url links instead.
If you're ever in Seattle, and this goes for anyone who visits, try Pagliacci pizza. amazing pizza, great salads, and hand made gellato.
Gelato! Now I could wish to be back in Rome having a pizza there and then heading over to Giolitti's (very famous) for gelato. Man...memories!
