We are talking about Marina And The Diamonds, specifically the release of FROOT, album #3.  Here are two quite different vids from that album.

Idiosyncratic, opinionated, Greek/Welsh singer-songwriter self-taught pianist pop star.  I like her.  Seen her live twice and I simply don't go to gigs at all.

 

I also have some awesome acoustic versions of tracks from the previous album, Electra Heart, lined up somewhere too.  But it seems one can only post two "will play here" vids before the rest become just flat url links instead.

 

listening to the first atm.. already like it. i love welsh singers.

hank williams iii is pretty cool. actually more like gramps than his dad.

 

I want to like him and I definitely like him better than his father but he has not clicked with me yet. I don't know what it is cause on paper I should dig him.

We have a restaurant that makes an incredible very different style lasagna and another restaurant that makes a terrific more traditional lasagna, well at least traditional for this area. The area I mentioned before The Hill is where toasted Ravioli was invented if you believe people here.

For Pizza I love Italian sausage and pepperoni toppings the most.

 

Yes! With maybe some black olives with the pepperoni. :)

i don't like all his stuff, but it's pretty good for chilling out.. feels like good background country music, if you know what i mean.

Pasta is great.  And sometimes simpler pizza is good, they don't have  to be loaded up to the ceiling with meaty toppings.... not all the time anyway!

 

 

I went to a local-ish Italian restaurant for my birthday a couple of months ago.  It was a little disappointing; the risotto I had, while it did taste nice and was filling, came in a bowl that was 60% edge and 40% food... while some other people got a pizza of a plate size equal to the whole edge + bowl.  So it was like they got twice as much food as I did!  It wasn't an auspicious start.

Of Hank III? Well, I'm not the one to give a lot of links on that. I just think he's signs of a better trend, I guess? Seems like more rockers and folk musicians capture old country better than most country musicians these days. Hell, even Jack White does better country than that stuff.

 

edit: lol.. accidentally put Jack Black. but he probably does better country too.
