Promised Marina acoustic sessions, part one.

Spoiler

Such a voice.

I like it. She kind reminds me of another welsh singer.. Katell Keineg. Same deep range and accent. But this girl is more quirky and pop (Katell is folky).

No, I wish,that sounds lovely!

It is! One of my top ten favorite things to make a fruity cocktail. A little bit goes a long way, of course.

I'd rather have an exotic fruit that actually is full of flavour.

I love lychee.

I think our culinary tastes might be long lost twins or something.

One of my favorite cocktails to get at a local restaurant is called The Blushing Geisha. It's made with vodka and a lychee puree. I can't get ahold of very much fresh lychee myself, but lychee flavoring is definitely a favorite in general.

Tropical fruits are some of the best.

I have been on a Dir En Grey kick lately. I love the fact their sound has been evolving through out the years and Kyo is probably the most dynamic vocalist in heavy metal.

my current and probably all time fave is

I've been a bit behind, so I've only just caught up with that album recently.

Similar story with Björk.  Couldn't believe how many albums I'd never realised had been released!

Yes, yes they are. I have had a crush on Shirley Manson for many years.

Funny Story: I completely forgot her name for about six months recently.  It just disappeared into a black hole in my head somewhere.  Took me ages to dig it back out again.  Thinking up lady names and playing the music didn't really help at all.  Sure, I could've looked it up easily enough, but the point was to remember it.  Did eventually, thankfully.

Another musical fave right now:  Honeyblood, a female duo from Glasgow.  Again, two quite different examples.

I don't think I could forget her name. A inredabily attractive red head that has no issues speaking her mind and she will deliver a verbal beat down when she needs too...hubba hubba.

The closest I get to country music is Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys solo album. Don't care for opera either but I have a very good reason for that.

Opera sounds nice but so much of it is in languages I don't understand... so I feel I'm always missing something.  Like, the meaning.

I will listen to pretty much everything but most modern music. Auto-tuned vocals, instruments "cleaned up" in the studio, triggered drum sets, ect ,ect. It just seems so dishonest.

Two Steps From Hell isn't opera. Black Heart starts out sounding like opera for like 40 seconds than transitions to Pianos, violins, cellos, drums and a electric guitar. Other than a chorus it has no vocals.

its not the words..... its the sound... the aura... that feeling you get when your soul aligns with the vocalist yet you feel yourself spilt into 3 people and then a dance of the souls begins...

Well i just got weird

Dude, I'm the italian here, the heretics are you people. :P

Lol, the "Italians" (some can't point out Italy on a map, thus the quotations) in Melbourne say the exact same thing.

One screamed at me for asking for pineapple on a pizza.

Technically, it's called "Hawaiian" pizza.

But it's not even Hawaiian... but invented by a Canadian apparently. As someone born in hawaii, i'll tell you that they prefer bbq chicken and rice. and macaroni salad.

And mayonnaise is the king of condiments correct?

Two Steps do great work, but Invincible (the album) had yet to be beaten, really.  The later albums don't seem quite as good.  Plus, most of that album was my "ME3 soundtrack before the game was released" soundtrack    Let alone the fact that is has the music from the ME2 and ME3 launch trailers on it as well.

EDIT:

You think? I can't find many uses for it.

Salami and Cheddar sandwich...with mayonnaise. That works. And tuna fish sandwiches.

Pretty much all sandwiches actually..
