Whoops. The guys who police my apartment complex saw me taking a leak outside my apartment and let me go. Nice guys.

Lol.

Always expect to see you speak in short sentences. Also much faster. Possibly with occasional deep breath. Probable cause for expectation...must be the avatar.

Honestly, it was very nice of them. I was standing there with my *ahem* member hanging out and they were like, "Headed home, buddy?" I was like, "Yep." Somehow this worked out and I'm now in my apartment.

Tis the benefit of being able to pee standing up.

Well, it was pretty unexpected that a couple cops were like, "Oh, yeah, we gotta go." Nice dudes.

That happens all the time when I eat in America. I have to like split my plate down the centre and even then I feel like it's too much food!

That's because it is. Most restaurants give you enough food for two meals or more. Always request to have your meal halfed or two thirds of it be placed in a to-go box before it's brought to the table. Most places are happy to do so and you end up saving your server some time in the long run.

Ouch. I dated a vegan once and the lack of meat was killing me.
I must have dropped to about 90kg on a vegan diet (I think that's about 200lbs)

The food was surprisingly good but man I would die not eating meat.

I was a t-rex in my past life. Going vegan simply isn't an option. I have nothing against vegans. But within a couple of days of me going vegan, you would see me stalking a farmers cow. With a fork in one hand, a steak knife in the other and I'd be wearing a bib.

I did it for all of about two months and it actually made me crave for McDonald's when I can't stand that s***.

McDonalds is gross. I can tolerate Taco Bell, Wendy's has good salads and that's pretty much all of the good things I can say about fast food. Thankfully I have a NY style deli by my place that I go to when I want something close to fast food.

McDonalds has a free play place, which did a lot to rehabilitate it for me, lmao. I am happy to grab a coffee and some fries and kick back and chat with friends while the kids play. Not that I go that often, but it's on my long list of rainy day places. Ikea is better tho, they actually watch your kid and give you free coffee. These are my new standards for places. Keep kiddo busy for free? I won't be picky, but coffee is greatly appreciated.

A few months on a vegan diet makes any meat smell good to a carnivore like me lol.

Understandable, I do the same thing when babysitting my nieces.

They play to their hearts content while I leech off the free Wi-Fi and when they get home, they're out cold lol. Works every time.

Morning guys and gals.

Okay, new project (sort off)

I have to find an advert that is influenced heavily by the time period (so for example - 70s imagery was influenced by drug use) it was released in and then find an advert that appeared at least 20 years prior to it, advertising the same or very similar product or brand.

I don't necessarily want to pick an advert that is around now (not against it but I don't feel it would push me) so if anyone (specifically the older people here but not discounting the younger people) can remember or know of two adverts that fit that criteria and is willing to share, it would be much appreciated.
