Not at all. I love dogs! I grew up with one after all. The guard dog was just doing it's job, so that was my sister's fault. My aunt's dog had been beaten by burglars and was traumatized, so it was my fault for cornering him.

 

If anything, I became wary of people after those incidents.

 

I got thrown by a horse once too, but I didn't get hurt. Just a couple of bruises. Good thing I was wearing a helmet though. I hit my head pretty hard on the ground.

 

Edit: The reason I prefer cats is simple aesthetics and general temper. Dogs are needy and too high maintenance for my taste. Go out for a walk at sub-zero temperatures? No way!

*de-cloaks* so I'm in Orzammar and it just hit me that i now know Dagna's future and it feels weird seeing this kid who will grow up to be this super intelligent young woman that my Warden helps. DAI Dagna also got hot and THAT makes me feel weird. okay. just needed to get that out somewhere.

If the female of the species lactates, chances are I love it! The species. The lactating, not so much.

Oh good! I love dogs too but like you I find them too much maintenance. Not just the walks you can forget about travel too unless you board them.

 

You just have to get hotels that allow dogs. We travel with ours a lot, but it does require more planning.

You picked a decent time to be there too. I'm only in South Texas, but the weather is hell most of the time. I couldn't imagine being in that jungle during the summer.

Sorry! Southern Mexico is very green once you get towards the coasts and lower altitudes. The Altiplano where Mexico City is is cooler and more arid. The mountains around the coasts stop the rain from reaching the high plains in the centre.
