Umm Cat...this is where you shimmy in with theories of relativity or something....Eirene ties in the historical accuracy according to thedas lore...Uncle finds a codex entry we missed...Dgyre shows up late to the convo but adds insight...Rage comes from left field with some knowledge no one was expecting...Veeia(almost missed you) says something really thoughtful but thinks its not and we're just like "damn. true."...and we pontificate on and off about over a few days this within the thread.

Yeah...that sounds about right.

soon as empire ends im so coming in with theories

Anyone ever noticed Sera Codex related to dragons? It seems that similar to Bull, she is fascinated with them. Considering this game undertones, makes you wonder if her interest has any deeper meaning.

It could even be a reference to how a well-built and well-buffed Tempest can take down any Dragon in the game in just one attack.

(And no, I don't count Thousand Cuts as multiple attacks, despite the fact it actually hits 55 times on Tier 3)

I play tabletop role-playing games.  All kinds of different ones, but probably not the obvious ones most people have heard of.

...

Um.... I promise I'm not an RPG hipster.  Really I'm not.

well to me her "fasination" with dragons comes from a combat high she gets from fighting them. She like bull "gets off" on the fight but her high is more curiousity and thrill seeking and maybe analytical. Would write more but party to plan

I had a couple of funny ideas that I was intending to put in a fic some time.  They aren't especially deep meanings or anything, but they're kinda contradictory, which seems only right for Sera.

(I still haven't decided on how/where to frame "The (UNDECIDED )" in my series yet...)

i noticed it but i never took it as anything other than "wow dragons". i'm not really sure how much she's been exposed to so i imagine most things are fascinating to her. Like the Storm Coast...she makes a comment about that area but i can't remember the exact words.

She get's so excited by the dragon and giant fight asking the inquisitor if they can watch the fight, it's so cute. If that's the conversation your talking about, unfortunately I can't remember how she puts it.

They were just fading away when 3rd Edition dragged them all back out again.  The D20 free-for-all meant everyone used the system rather than develop one more appropriate to their new setting, and while that meant we got to see more stuff published than we might have done, it was all with what was basically a twenty year old rules system that had long been overshadowed by newer things.  And now they won't go away.

I cold turkey quit drinking 2-3 dr peppers a day, because I was worried about my teeth
,to just water. It was hard for like a week, then I didn't notice it, now I think most soda is too sweet and gross.

I do indulge in soda from time to time, mostly local root beers, but it does feel like an indulgence now, not like an everyday thing. I've never gotten into artificial sweetness or less sweet versions for some reason, just like I never liked fake meat when I was a vegetarian, shrug.

Nothing beats cold water IMO, except maybe a good glaas of pinot noir alongside it.

Artifice greatly approves.  ^_^

When I first started working in the wine business, It was Pinot Noir that made me fall in love with wine.

Ha, this reminds me of one of my favourite lines she gives at the Hissing wastes: "Wow, that's a whole lot of... nowhere!" For some reason, it really made me laugh.

To be fair, I've never played 4th Ed.  But I've not heard much good about it from those I know that have.

Now don't be appalled at Dazzle, but I haven't met many wines I could tolerate, let alone like.

Occasionally I'll enjoy a really fruity riesling. And I do like icewine.
