least you can drink them im allegeric to grapes(lips get more itchy than poison ivy)Now don't be appalled at Dazzle, but I haven't met many wines I could tolerate, let alone like.
Occasionally I'll enjoy a really fruity riesling. And I do like icewine.

That's perfectly normal, Dazzle. Almost no one likes dry wine right away. It's something you have to acquire.
But here's something you in particular might appreciate. You know how sometimes people claim red wine is good for your heart? What they're actually referring to, whether they know it or not, is something called Resveratrol. It's a natural phenol compound that grapes develop as a way to protect themselves in their environment. It is very good for you, and it is particularly abundant in Pinot Noir.
So, if you're going to start drinking more dry wine at any point, Pinot Noir is the way to go. Of course, it's also found in the grapes themselves without the alcohol, so in that case is it's just another benefit of eating fruit. ![]()

I find that red wines taste much more of their barrel than white wines. I often complain that they taste like their soil type.
Luckily frozen grapes are one of my favourite treats! They taste like sorbet and are so refreshing.

4 years, ish?I really like the San Pellegrino Sodas, but those are a like once a year kind of indulgence.
How long were you a vegetarian for? I wouldn't give up meat, but I have such issues finding good vegetarian recipes not smothered in cream and cheese!
I never had a problem finding healthy recipes, shrug. I have a couple really good cookbooks, maybe. The only annoying thing was the prep work with veggie intensive food is longer. I actually still eat mostly vegetarian, 1-3 meals with meat a week, and sometimes I end up spending an hour or so on the weekend chopping up all the veggies for the week.

Someone posted some long, not even relevant screed about how Sera is the WORST as a reblog of a post I made about Sera and Briala. I managed to stay calm and sort of shoot then down but god, so frustrating you can't even say her name in a post without someone going BUT THE WORSt. I wish people would stop to think if their opinion was adding to a discussion or not before they dive right in, sigh.

Haters don't work with logic.
They even find the most ridiculous things that happened to just paint Sera as "evil". Like that one who said Sera is actually a bad person bc you don't get approvals in the Hinterlands.

Well.....
I think all of these characters are meant to be both loathed and loved. Some more than others. I mean, they said right after launch that they predicted which characters might get some heat. I think they enjoy this even.
That said, the hate probably gets to be much too. So I understand. I'd just say not to sweat it. She still has fans.
Personally, I appreciate haters more than people who like characters, but on some superficial level. That's worse.

I love criticism, but not haters, if that makes sense. I'd rather read someone's well thought out reasons for disliking someone than a "flawless perfect blah blah" post, especially about a flawed character. But choosing between "my flawless bb" and something full of gross misogyny and weird commentary about race and sexuality? I'll choose the enthusiastic praiser every time.
Interesting ideas > flailing >>>>>>> people being assholes, basically

I just think of it this way. If there are assholes, then more fun for me. I don't have to listen to them for long, and they don't know what they're really missing. Makes me feel smug. ![]()

she's very asute despite her front. I really think she down plays her "lack of intellect"Speaking of criticism of Sera, specifically her being dumb, I took her to the Winter Palace for the first time along with Vivienne and Cass (I know bad Seranader but I find Varric more useful).
Of the three of them, she was the only one who knew what the deal was between Celene, Gaspard and Briala.

Hello Sera thread! I'm a regular over at the Solas thread, but thought I'd pop in and dump a speed portrait I did today, based on one of drake2511's beautiful screens, since it's relevant.
Yay, Sera!

I guess the only downside to me is if when something isn't popular enough, then Bioware listens to the haters. Or just gives up.
It's how I feel as a Jack fan. And how I feel about DA2.
So here's hoping something better for Sera. I think Vivienne has more going against her (unfortunately).
