I am really bitter about this right now lmao because I recently spent a long time looking through anti Blackwall and sera tags trying to figure out where the f*** people got this idea that Blackwall fetishizes Sera and she loves it because MALE WRITER. (Spoiler: it's hilarious bs and deliberate misreading that one person posted and now everyone repeats it like fact without even knowing or caring about the actual source of the claim) like ffs, there are plenty of legit criticisms of Sera and an entire ocean of bad stuff to say about Blackwall, why would you make stuff up?

(Fwiw I get it's because they're awful I'm just venting not expecting a magical answer and I fully am aware it's my fault for upsetting myself by going there but I was legit concerned that there might be such a line, wouldn't put it past them)

 

I have a habit of going into threads where meaty discussions are happening, a I inevitably find someone saying something outlandish, and I just have to start debating about it. I'm never happier afterward and I usually end up with a headache...yet I keep doing it.

Eh, as soon as Cass draws a line, he respects it. That's not harassment to me. With Dorian it's more grey to me just because you can't really get his perspective to read if its play or genuine distress. I tend to read it as play, that he's flustered because he's not used to the publicness of it, but that he likes it for that very reason.

Yeah Blackwall genuinely loves her and is one of the rare companions who doesn't have to "come around" to liking her, he just appreciates her up front. But they are the two most hated (along with Vivienne), so of course it can't be a genuine friendship, it has to be CREEPY OLD MAN PERVING ON STRAIGHT MALE FNATASY LESBIAN, or whatever.

Ignoring them is the best option Green mama . Ya cant win against Troll...

Oh I normally do, hehe. I was only looking there because I had heard that people thought he made a fetishizing comment, and I do think Blackwall makes a pretty gross comment about Dorian that I strongly dislike (it's not necessarily supposed to be read as homophobic, but it easily can so I'm very blegh on it) so I wanted to see if that claim was true, so I dove into the garbage dump. It was not worth it.

well I did . been playing games since the Atari....and there are some games with romances like Baldur's Gate and Kotor where I couldve whined about lack of choices and such . But I never though about joining a forum like this..and vent it away . So I just suck it up and rage like a loonie on my own lol Tis the 1st time I joined a place about a Game . And like always lol by the time I join somewhere..the raging boat has sailed away...

I have another MBTI theory about this too.

I think the people who like IB are IFPs.. INFPs mostly. I would love to see people's types. Because INFP is a good pairing for ESTP. And they're the perfect ones to clue ESTPs on people, where they're going too far. And they're patient, and see the good in most people.

Basically, the hate is not strong with them. Never.
