Meyers Brigg test personality types. It's a personality test that is a lot of fun but also I think...taken too seriously...not talking about SM, but about companies who invest thousands of dollars in it to test their employees and act like it's the ultimate career advice framework or whatever.

 

It also relies pretty havily on binaries and doesn't account for the fluidity of people*...for example, I'd say I could easily fall under INFP, ENTP, ENFP, AND INTP since I fluctuate pretty heavily on Intro/Extro and Feeligs/Thinking, but I just go with ENFP bevause it's easier than saying E/INF/TP, lmao

 

*which is fine unless it's treated as scientifically valid.

Yeah, it can definiely be taken too seriously. No should be hired for that. lol

 

 

I get ISTP results a lot. I'm the more introspective ESTP. Which is why I'm talking ****. It's like facepalming at a friend.

No, it just means your perceptive function is in the lead (Ne.. extroverted Intuition). ENFPs still have strong ethics and social boundaries they make for themselves.. they're just a helluva lot more energetic and random than the INFP. Ne is a kind of..... brainstorming function, I'd say.

Well me being ENFP probably explains why I like every character ever,tbh. :lol:  and having the ENTP slant probably explains why I'm so...weirdly detached despite said enthusiasm and interested in critical analysis conversations and also arguing with people. 

 

Both are flaky as hell and bad at long term and implementation, and that 2realness is probably why i don't like thinking about it too much, lmfao.

Her approval confuses me sometimes. She still encourages saving them, I think. It's not like Vivienne, who's outright pragmatic about it.
 
And I don't even know why she disapproves at me making the Inquisition for Faith... when she isn't exactly an opponent of that otherwise.

 
 

I might be misremembering, but she approves of that too. If not with actual points, at least in dialogue.


Oh I agree she approves but I'm just saying I've seen people use this as an excuse to badmouth her. Personally I take it that she expects you to do the right thing. She is also concerned verbally when she hears them.

All I can remember about my results is that I turned up with extrovert as a result and my friends were surprised. lol. 

 

I feel like I veer somewhere between I and E depending on my mood.

I like ENFPs quite a bit... but I'm also a lot different. I don't have many real life friends that are like that though. It'd be cool.. or ENTP. It'd be like having a mad scientist around.

I think I veer between F and T.. or I grew into that.

 

But they're just supposed to be preferences and what you'd do naturally/comfortably.. Not completely set in stone.

The preference thing is why I slant E, because I think a lot of my introvert tendencies come from overstimulation issues due to sensory processing problems as well as depression.

T/F? No idea. I feel just as comfortable with each one and the division between them makes me feel weird because I connect the two very deeply.

...I may overthink these things. One time I spent an entire day in a chat room with a friend (who equally overthinks things) trying to "nail down" the right type for me. And don't even get me started with other, less defined personality tests, like Hogwarts sorting. :lol:

Actually, there was a study of prisoners, and ISTP and ISTJ were both heavily represented. It seems to me though that some of those ISTJs might've been ISTP too. Other ISTJs I know tend to have their **** together and are very good with structure.

Yes ma'am.  So long as you respect me, my town, and the people living in it,  we will have no issues. I'm the kind of Sheriff that does not care about a fist fight at the saloon so long as its one on one and no one draws weapons. But, I'm the kind of Sheriff that you don't want to push. Because if you push me to far or disrespect my town, the people living in it or try something stupid. I will come down on ya pretty hard.
