just basically me thinking Rogek's deal has a connection with how the Templars got their grubby hands on red lyrium. Godwin is in the circle tower in Origins as is Carroll who shows up as a red Templar body horror in the Emerald Graves in DAI. Something something something...Valamar may have something to do with that because red lyrium is there and we have no idea the source of the original regular lyrium and Rogek's deal. my guess is that they started pushing for the creepier ish after Kirkwall...and...this is where you guys fill in the holes LOL

I killed Rogek already. He was a smartass.

but BUT somebody had to fill that void. you chopped the limb off the dragon...the head was still intact. what troubles me a bit is that if Rogek isn't killed and that is how they got their hands on the evil ish(i'm guessing it was after Kirkwall because no one knew about it before that)...aww hell my Warden is partly responsible for that in a roundabout way.

Maybe someone went back down there , after Hawke and Varric came back . There was the dwarf who propose ya money if ya dont have enough for the expedition . So he know ! and then there is the other dwarf ya find in varric brother who survived......

 

And then there is the fact corny probably with his tainted dragon can sniff red lyrium location faster then anyone . 

 

Maybe even the carta in Valammar are working for him....?

She was so not written as a tempest. None of the damn companions were written as having a specialization, and the only one whose specialization actually really fits the character is Cole's Assassin.

 

Disagreed. Aside from having banter specific to her specialization, among the three available to the rogue, Tempest is the only one that is actually meant to be chaotic in the battlefield, whereas Artificer and Assassin are all about precision. Seems kind of fitting for a companion that also gets you something like a jar of bees as a weapon.

 

As for some others, I can't imagine Vivienne being anything but a Knight-Enchanter, or Blackwall as anything but a Champion, considering his dialogue about being in the Grand Tourney and being part of the Orlesian army.

Rage i like the start of your theory...my only thing is that they couldn't have known about red lyrium until after Meredith's crazy ass and Kirkwall. So if they started in on it...then too, who even suggested they start that? How did Coryphallis even talk them into...ohhhh. just answered my own question. i don't want to spoil the game in case someone still hasn't made it to the end.

Funny.. that's what I thought. That dwarf in the mansion. He's the only NPC you can depend on being around.

true. although you do kill him eventually when he tries to jump fly years after the expedition. i kill him, at least. but if he somehow found out about it while Bartrand was on the run with that damn idol before you end up having to kill him...wth was his name....something with a D...hmmm.

Rogek was my homeboy, yo. My Warden made off like a fat rat with that lyrium deal. I never took Dougal's deal before, though I probably would have cheated him out of it later if I did.
