I have a weakness for both green or blue eyes. And heterochromatic too, not that I think about it.

 

See now, blondes are my thing. Redheads are great, but they'll never grab me the way a cute perky blonde will.

I don't remember that dialogue and I don't see it on DA wiki list of their banters. Could you provide a link?

 

I didn't like one thing in Sera's banters with Blackwall. That talk about her seducing men for fun and bed advices in regard to Josie, because if you've read into it it insinuated that somehow she knows how a man should use his member to please a woman.

 

Alas, that "remember, don't use it like a sword!" could be explained not only by first-hand experience (like, she could be referencing to what other women told her), but such nuances make it very visible that there wasn't put much thought into this aspect of this character, her sexuality and how it would interfere with the world, no research has been made. She's basically written like a DA2-style romanceable character that has been gender-gated for women only, so as other people in this thread admitted before, making her bisexual would work perfectly fine and wouldn't even need any noticeable change in her dialogues. Actually, in some parts it would even make more sense.

 

Didn't catch up with the thread enough to see if anyone had responded, but this is it:

Sera: What, the tavern tale?

Blackwall: Come on, you left off, elbow deep in... circumstances. That can't be it.

Sera: That wasn't her name, but yeah. That's as far as the story ever gets. Why are you complaining?

Blackwall: Because I can't stop thinking about it. I need to know the end.

Sera: Why would you want to stop? The whole point of the good bit is thinking about the good bit. If I tell the end , it ends. Bunch of moaners, this. Drag out the sad sh*te, yes please. But hang on to the good bit, oh can't have that. F*****ng daft.

 

I sort of disagree with your assessment of her writing as necessitating that she has sexual experience with men, I have lesbian friends who have never been with a man and say stuff like that all the time for various reasons (to me and male acquaintances) and that is how I read Sera and Blackwall, but I do understand what you're saying. Just because it does happen doesn't mean I would write it for the first lesbian companion.

Actually she didn't say she would go all the way. She said she would wind up the guy up to the point of getting to bed, then she'd punch him and say his wife is cuter. Or something like that. Basically leave the guy with unfulfilled lust.
