Uh-huh whereas I prefer a more ruthless Lels who has no qualms in brutally crushing/removing anyone who rises up against her if made Divine.

The cold revolutionary is a bit of a turn-off. I prefer my revolutionary commandante's to be of the people and for the people and always willing to dance. Leliana doesn't strike me as a dancer after the "change."

HOW DARE YOU HAVE A DIFFERING OPINION TO MINE!! *hurls abuse at you and Sera* ;)

Might take you up on the PM, it's always interesting to see your favourite characters get constructive criticism. :)

There's probably thousands of posts about this, and I will try and read further back, buuuut...what makes Sera so special to you all? Genuine curiosity, you'll get no animosity or anything from me.  B)

It's actually this bunch that made me appreciate Sera. My first playthrough I couldn't understand her and I thought she was irrational and irritating.

But then I started hanging out here, and my tavern was so lonely during my second playthrough without her cozy little room, that I took her everywhere in my third playthrough and now I see her as a kid sister.

Right! I will disconnect myself from the Internet! ... Soon. In a little bit. Maybe later?

Do I need to sneak into your house and cut your power, missy?

No! Leave it 'til last minute. It's always better when it's a rush job.  :P

I'm not joking about that. My rushed work is far superior to my not rushed work.

Like I said on the other thread, in all honesty my only reason for recruiting her based on her initial introduction was a completionist streak when it comes to recruitment. I've never missed or lost a companion, ever. She left me scratching my head A LOT, but I'm glad I gave her the chance and scratched the surface. There's a sweet kid under that rebellious anger. :)

I don't agree with all of her pov. She is pretty intolerant of the Dalish although most of that is based on her own fears and trauma. I do like that she is for the little guy at all times even if her program at some points doesn't seem to be much broader than her own hedonism. But she's generally on the right side of things. She's also a lively wit and has some of the funniest banter in the game. I also forgive her a lot cause she's a kid in a lot of ways but despite her immaturity I've got a feeling she'll come good in the end.

monkey: random question: what does bring balance to the force actually mean? does that mean the jedi had it wrong as much as sith?

/sorry.. still reacquainting myself with a bunch of SW stuff.

Isn't it something to do with "The Force needs light and dark. It needs equilibrium."? My thinking is that neither the Jedi, or the Sith are in the right. They are pushing their view on how the force should be used and not allowing the force to exist as it should be.

Philosophical answer given.  :P

* looks crossed due to interuppting yugioh :P*

joke aside: its a philosphical question ment for all force users for the jedi its about keeping harmony in times of peace and as guardians in troubled times. while the sith view it as a warped darwinist ideology which the strong survive.

To say it has multiple meanings is a gross understatement its a way of life... no it is life

You don't have to do intros, but thank you. :D I'm fairly new here (BSN), only here less than a week. I like it, though. I don't do forums much, because the internet is often a horrible place. But, the bad outweighs the good if you look in the right places.

Plus I can rabbit incessantly about my BioWare obsessions till the cows come home here. :D

Well, it just seems to me that Jedi are overly monkish ascetics. Too heavy handed on not having attachments. They suppress a lot about what makes us human. And it ends up backfiring on them in the end. They'd have been better off letting Anakin having a slightly normal life.

Sith seem extreme in the other way (like you said, kind of a social darwinist position).

I'm good at keeping out of trouble on forums, but thanks. :D The threads I've come to frequent are all lovely. I generally leave once they descend into flame wars and lunacy. ;) I must start taking Sera around with me more on my next playthrough. I fell in love with the Cassandra/Varric combo, though, and usually have Dorian for mage. He used to be pretty even with Solas, but WELL...  Mind you, I mostly used mages for healing in DA, so that's redundant.
