i get that it was a bit messed on how they did it. I expected the writers to make a joke bout that case once and leave it but yeah. I was just letting a tid bit boit myself slip.It was rather crushing for me to hear the voice, felt like people like me were being made fun of again. Just about every media type available has made fun of trans women in some way. It was heartbreaking for me when NCIS joined in on the fun especially having my favorite character calling us hickey. They've made trans jokes a running theme in that show.Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a bad reaction to your post.

Oh trust me, they do. :/
I've seen it.
They're in the same boat. Maybe. I bet if a Dorian mod came out, Sera would too on the same day.
Dorian mod is already out, Sera mod is not afaik. I've seen pics from the Dorian one, it's gross.
Oh trust me, they do. :/
But I think the comparison with Dorian is that it's made explicit in his story that he's gay, and his flirtatious comments are addressed. (And those comments and that part of his character has actually been torn apart by people, especially after Gaider described why he chose to do that lmao), and leave no real room for ambiguity. So it isn't "Oh, I read this comment as her being bi and never encountered anything that contradicted that" it's "Well I know they say he's gay but he and my female Quizzie just clicked so much!!!" or whatever.
Oh well then. As Aria T'Loak says: "We all have our delusions".
Yeah, probably that's the issue.. but Sera talks about ladies a lot though and if people play a dudequizzy who tries to romance her, he'll get the hint.
I was advocating violence against Loki, not Dazzle. Silly primitive.
ah, a clear misunderstanding.
as a peace offering! *offers a piece of gum*

She doesn't even hint, she's blunt about preferring women.
Although as Dani pointed out it's possible a lesbian may never hear that.
True. She'll find out eventually by others. ![]()

I would not no. But I have slept with a transgender woman and I considered my attraction to have been male to female because they identified as female. But male to male? Probably not. I dunno does that answer your question? I am not an expert on sexuality or gender and I do have my blinders such as they are.
If you wouldn't consider straight identified man who enjoys sex with men straight, but would consider such gay identified woman gay, then I think we need a longer talk. I would like to present you a bit more nuanced take than that lesbian sexuality just adheres to different rules.
In reference to that longitudinal research of Lisa Diamond I mentioned before, I would like to add that in her book she pointed at another study which showed interesting thing. Majority of women in general tend to base their identity label on their romantic preferences first and foremost, some women can't even draw the clear line between their romantic and sexual feelings. Most men base their identity on sexual preferences. That's why for a lot of gay men their journey starts with finding out that men turn them on sexually, but they initially don't even imagine being ever in romantic relationship with a man. That's not important part.
Meanwhile, because of the fact I pointed at above, there are gay identified women who sleep with men from time to time (encouraging homophobic myths, I might add), but also straight identified women like that, just in reverse. I'm aware of cases of women in straight relationships, who consider themselves straight because they love their boyfriends or husbands, but who can get off only by fantasizing about doing it with women. And they don't think they're any less straight because of that, maybe at most a little bit bi-curious, because "which woman isn't". The things usually change for those women when they fall in love with a woman for the first time.
Diamond theorizes that this situation is based on two things - sex drive and hormones connected to process of falling in love, like oxytocin. On average, women seem to have weaker sex drive for most of the month than men (although there's apparently much bigger variation in strength of sex drive among women than among men) with exception of fertile days, and use of pill further affects sex drive of women negatively. Meanwhile, women have more oxytocin, "bonding hormone", because its level is connected to level of estrogens.
So that would explain why for many women their sexual feelings aren't that important while love is, while for men it's the other way around.
This is what makes women look more "sexually fluid", term used by Diamond in her studies. Ironically, she rejects the idea that sexual orientation could change. There is also really nothing to suggest that sexual orientation of men and women (or of gay and straight people) is in any form different. But like I mentioned before, for Diamond, sexual orientation is generalized sexual attraction alone, and clarity of sexual attraction obviously depends on strength of sex drive, while romantic preferences are not hardwired, they are apparently build on environmental (but non-biological) factors, including experience, obviously most of the time being in congruence with sexual feelings, but it doesn't have to, as those are two different things.
Ya are no fun.....
so sorry. no violence from me for today. ![]()
