Esp that part "you're not like other elves, LOLZ".

No wonder why Sera gets constantly annoyed by this. I was actually sideeyeing a lot of quizzy's comments towards Sera and yet people find Sera rude. It's ok when the inquisitor does it ofc.

Duh, that's always been Bioware fandom logic

I think it was a bug that was for low app but fell through the cracks and became a constant

I guess some of those dialogue choices really don't fit on some character concepts. I noticed this too, but it fit my character. He's both a noble and a mage. He doesn't know ****. It's not like he's from the streets. Or really met elves like her... most would be mages themselves.

Should've know.... only the protag must be perf and do whatever the eff they do, like murder knife someone or tell others to do so. But Sera actually did the murder knee without an "order" and oh noez, shocking!

That was an surprising addition imo.

He seriously said that? Admitted that therefore they knew they are de facto limiting options of lesbian players to just one LI and just didn't care?

If that's how you want to read it, sure. Although I want to be careful here and disclaimer that my memory is not great, so he may not have made that comment (which is not a direct quote) until after the game was out and the fanbase already reacted. Please don't take that as proof, haha.

Me too. Although I just told her to kill the dude, so I didn't see it my first PT, lmao. But yawn at everyone who wants all companions to respect their authority 100% and not make decisions of their own.

I can't imagine it means anything good either way. I just... think it would have been better if Sera wasn't a romance option, and some other character was (probably another party member would have to be female and lesbian).

At least you had one character, who started to feel some of the consequences of actions over time.

Not always, but I think this is better than jerkish protagonists riding off into the sunset.

Same here.

Given the choice, I'll leave companions to their own devices even if it leads to them making a choice I don't necessarily agree with.

Nah, i want to kill the one who survived. Or pit him against either Hawke or Quizzy, I mean. I'd love that kind of drama.

I never understood what the inquisitor meant by that. I only chose it once. Sera didn't like the question and I was like D:!

I'm assuming it has something to do with her childhood?

As big a Mary Sue as Quizzy is claimed to be, Shepard is far worse. And creepy.

Shepard is by far the biggest Mary Sue protag Bioware did

No one can criticize Hawke on this. No matter how powerful they might be (and they're not, very much), they get their fair dose of bad karma and/or tragedy in their life.

Bioware games try to tell human stories inside power fantasies which is why they get so awkward at times, imo,  and why DA2 is so successful on that level.

More by the fact she wants to be seen as a person and not as an elf. She gets annoyed when people see her as elf and not by what she does.

Hence why I love Hawke so damn much. Hawke fails a lot, is more "human" and doesn't have the title of purfekt protag.
