And then they reappeared in Farscape, frell me!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Take 'em away! Take 'em away!
They aren't as bad as the harvester...
actually yes I would lol Neverending Story didn't nearly freak me out as much as the Dark Crystal did lol
Harvester? Oh pleeeeease.
Nothing some righteous Grey Wardening can't solve!
Well, this went quiet fast...
Did all of you die of the Taint?
Pulp Fiction is on tv, Samuel L. Jackson is discussing cheeseburgers and shout-acting. I'm multi-tasking... sorta.

Did you kill it on nightmare difficulty?

I'm fussing with others over race gaiting while watching Mr. Bean so yeah multi-tasking lol
Did you kill it on nightmare difficulty?
I actually did that with a specced spirit warrior/champion/reaver, sort of proud of myself for that.
It's nearly impossible to do it without a mage you know.

Literally the worst boss I've had to face in any BW game in recent memory.

I did it with a rogue. I had a bajilion health potions left over from the main game though. My whole party was butchered, but my Warden survived! (after 20-30 attempts or so)
Did you kill it on nightmare difficulty?
Blast and damnation.
I admit, I never played on Nightmare, so no. That bosh'tet still lives.
Might as well get the Grim Reaper achievement next time I do...
Did you kill it on nightmare difficulty?
I killed it on hard.
*flexes*
I'm almost done with Awakening and will start that DLC after..I should try it on nightmare...with my DW rogue.
lol

I did it with a Warrior on Hard.
One thing I really hated about that fight was how useless the companions were. It was basically the Warden versus that SOB. Lots and lots of health potions were sacrificed that night... just for one lousy achievement!
Did you kill it on nightmare difficulty?
If you're asking in general, then I have! Arcane Warrior/Spirit Healer/Battlemage. Had to make careful use of Hand of Winter, Mind Blast and Time Spirial. Took me five attempts, but it was the best boss battle of any game I have ever played.
I killed it on hard.

I hated the Golems of Amgarrak DLC, but I wanted that sweet mace to get my war fund going in the main game. ![]()
So you're telling me to bring three hundred sovereigns worth of health potions alone if I try it...?
Literally the worst boss I've had to face in any BW game in recent memory.
The Harvester is just nasty *nods*
Bloody things need to die in a volcano.
So you're telling me to bring three hundred sovereigns worth of health potions alone if I try it...?
If you're playing anything other than a healer (like a Warrior in my case), then yes, you will need LOTS of health potions for any chance of survival.
Remember, companions tend to be complete garbage on Hard and Nightmare. So don't even count on them to do anything besides serving as temporary meat shield.

Pretty much. Or abuse the tome duplication glitch like mad to give yourself god stats.
(I actually didn't do that in the DLC, but in the main game once...)
Blast and damnation.

Do it! It's tough, but so satifying. My advice: craft as many high quality health, stamina/lyrium potions as you can in Awakening and buy several Manuals of Focuses so you can respecc your otherwise usless companions. And craft as many paragon runes as you can too. Awakening gives you more money and items than you'll ever need, make use of it!
And make sure you respecc Jerrik as an assassin archer. Mark of Death + most of the single target archer abilities are so helpful in that fight.

Considering how Dace, his trusty Bronto and Mr. I'm-made-of-metal were just cannonfodder on Easy, I shudder to imagine their life expectancy on Nightmare...
And then, at the end, they show you that a couple dozen of the bosh'tets actually made it out. Ouch.
I just hope that Sera won't be race-gated against humans, if she is one of the two. I want to play as a human female in the first round. Or maybe, that just might convince me to change my mind. ![]()

If you're just going for the Grim Reaper achievement, you can do it on Hard and you will still get the achievement. That's what I did anyway, and it was STILL a horrible fight.
I maintain that is the hardest achievement in DA:O. By far.
