Dazzle's ME 3 Progress Report:

Picked up a lot of paragon points telling my team about the Salarians messing with the Shroud, but it was worth it. Wrex called me his sister! The joy was short-lived when Mordin sacrificed himself for the cure to save the Krogan. I outright sobbed for a good few minutes.

 

And then that goddamn nightmare with the stupid kid. I don't care about the kid. Why can't I dream about the crew I lost instead? It's totally wrecking my immersion.

Namor is way better than Aquaman, I agree. Unfortunately iirc the rights to him are in limbo, Marvel doesn't own them (neither does Sony, some random company), so that movie is prob not gonna happen anytime soon.

I do think Momoa is great casting as Aquaman though, so I'm cautiously excited about that. (Cautiously because Cavill was perfect for Superman and Man of Steel was a hot mess)

past page convo: i didn't like default femshep because they had a chance to not go with something typical and they didn't. you know the perspective i'm coming from.

i wasn't around for that contest/pageant/bs because i caught onto ME like a year before ME3 dropped and was playing catching up. But after the fact...when i saw all of the Shepard's available and they chose her...that is what i mean when i say we are never the default. Hell even within this thread, i have never saw anyone other than myself post woc as beautiful. this isn't shots fired. I'm just stating facts. so that's why i don't care for that Shepard.

The action RPG style (as opposed to DAO/Kotor/etc)

It feels the same as DA2 in many ways. I don't think it's something new. Like the AC1 comparison Duelist mentioned.

You know I find it ironic that DA2 is probably the most evenly balanced game in the series.

While you're right that DAI isn't anything new, I do think it's a good blueprint and combines elements of the past installments.
Let my bad analogy serve as proof of how mixed I am on this game lol.

It could use a few more epic fights for me personally like the f****** Envy Demon or even harder optional fights, doppelgangers with the exact same skills as us would be my first choice.

there was one. google search turned up the one EYE would have voted for if i were so inclined. i honestly do not believe they picked her for the reason you stated, however. she doesn't even look remotely similiar to the default from ME and ME2. hair color included.

iirc there were campaigns to get that one because "she's different, she has red hair" or whatever which is...

It was a facebook poll with two rounds. First they picked the general look and then they did another round for hair colour. Hence why she flipped from platinum to red, and why I sometimes call her Red 5.

 

It was all a bit... yeah.

So far, I think Tunchanka had the most depth of any of the missions.

I just feel like the nightmare is telling me things that Esri doesn't remotely think or feel, and that's why it's most upsetting to me.

But I remember Hudson got in some trouble pre-release, for saying something about how much it cost to even have FemShep in the games, and not really having the playerbase to support it. Then he tried to explain later he meant well.... that they try to do what they can for fans, even at a loss. 
 
It shows though that they don't prioritize it.
