Not to me... it would have pitted the VS against Liara, I think. Yay drama. And Javik was somehow mixed in, as a full blown member with that story.. Not a DLC story. Also, it had more details with the Asari planet.

 

It doesn't make sense as to why they would follow an ex-N7 who turned Cerberus when it was bad enough Ash/Kaidan started to question you again about Cerberus
