i like DAI. it's just missing...something. coming through 3 games prior in the series and ending up with this plot...i scratch my head. There are baes for me as far as the eye can see i just don't have that urge to play it again unless i talk up a story in my head about a potential Inquisitor. i never had to do that with the others. the story wrote itself as i played.

currently starting ME...because why the hell not. hmm...what shall i name this Shepard? I'm challenging myself and doing a male Shep. -_-

That's because none of the plots in past DA games are suppose to connected like it's one major story like ME

I'm mostly lost as usual, but I'd like to state that I like both Tallis (Felicia Day, people!!) *and* DAI (though it has its faults).

Does this make me cool or an I going to be chased from the thread by an angry mob...? :D

all bachlorette/batchlor parties should be planmed 2months in a advance thats just rude to have walkins

I prefer to call it parallel taste... sounds fancy :P

And i thought i was the only one who like tallis for years

It's not just those types of parties specifically, though I do have a prejudice (bachelor/bachelorette parties should go to a bar...or Vegas, not to a winery tasting where the tastings are specifically tailored to limit on site consumption. They always complain about the small--legal sized--pours). Our policy states that we require an appointment for groups of more than eight. If larger groups show up, we usually try to take them anyway, because it's better to scramble than risk a bad yelp review over it. It's just such a pain if that happens three times in a row on a Saturday.

Anyway, I shouldn't make my work life a long discussion, but thank you for asking, Monkey. A little ranting helps.

I think most of the more devoted Felicia Day fans love Tallis. I really like Felicia Day, but I also really dislike the Qun. A lot. I don't hate Tallis, but I don't feel all that warmly about her either.

Am I the only person regularly posting in this thread who likes DAI? I've got to think so sometimes.

I like it... on my 7th play through... sorta... dropped a couple of characters that I didnt like the looks of once in game...

I used my own first name for Shep's. Seems to work. I'll probably try a femshep at some point.

I Like Dai's main story although it feels like they needed to add more. I like the companions the best of the series so far (better than Origins and DA 2) and I like most of the locations. I think it's combat is not as good as Origins but is better than DA 2's. I also think they optimized it pretty shakily for pc and each patch seems to introduce a new problem.

I won't post a very appropriate gif, cuz you know... spoilers.

but there will be a time where you'll get the opportunity to press the renegade button.  and when it appears press it. Only good things will come of it. :police:

Don't wory Lady, I love my renegade buttons. <3

It's all about what happens when you let a mage loose on the world. In my "major story", it's Morrigan, Anders, and the Inquisitor. And Corypheus, if you want to count him too.

No, you know I loved it. I mean, I stopped 5 playthoughs in because of bugs, but it made me happy.

I am too although I am or was taking a break after recent patch suddenly gave me ctd's at the wartable. I've got to see if the new nvidia driver helps that. I'll probably load it up tomorrow if I can tear myself away from ME 3.

sweet. I just discovered the Sutherland crew. And doing all of their quests.

don't do iiiiiit. Jennifer Hale is clearly the better voice

well, unless you're doing a paragon Shepard. I find that male Shepard is more fitting for that.

I don't like the Qun either, but to me, she's full of doubt... and thinks she can somehow change things.. it makes her more interesting. And I already like Felicia, so it works.

I criticize it but I have like a billion hours on it and I just beat DA:I again five seconds ago. First time doing it with a Quizzie who drank from the well, actually, so new content. Had a fun time with Sera this PT. Quizzie was a hardcore Dalish elf but very pragmatic so she saw a place for Sera and was content to let her do her thing and they had a good friendship, even though she got really mad when Sera pushed her buttons (like after Well of Sorrows). They kind of fought like family.

I find it hilarious that Varric, Sera and my Inquisitor can go around steam rolling dragons and bosses in seconds but Thedas is still scared of mages more.

I have very mixed feelings about it. It has some of my favorite DA characters so far. I loved the implementation of the approval system this time around and the return of certain characters, and it was visually beautiful

The plot, the villain, the protagonist. These things inspired little excitement for me. When I finished my first play through, I was a little blue for a little bit, partly because nothing would have really lived up to the image I'd let myself develop in my head.

I have to do a playthrough where I don't let Morrigan drink. No spoilers but Veeia which option would you say packs more narrative punch? I mean without giving anything away.
