I usually give it to morrigan... anything to help her and the warden live a happlyly ever after with keiran. DA is dark enough needs some happiness

I like Morrigan with it... 

 

Just because my mage is the one who eschews power.. and she's completely the opposite. I want to see what comes of that. 

 

I've given it to Morrigan with all of my Inquisitors so far. Mainly because I trust her and she was the LI of my Warden however I will want to see what happens if my Quiz does it at some point. I like to play out all the possibilities.

I actually think no matter which choice you make, you get pretty good content. I still hate having to MAKE the choice, lmao, but I like both paths, so kudos to Bioware for that.

I get that. They had a neat concept I thought and the motivation for the villain was interesting. I felt they failed though in connecting all the main areas to the main story as well as they could have and I also felt it was too easy to cruise quickly through the main plot and ignore everything else and that buttresses the arguments of those who claim it's a big empty world. I want a big world next time but I also want it tied more closely to a story that really does take a bit more time to unfold.

 

Yes, exactly. There were some interesting sub plots, but the larger story never felt very cohesive to me, and that's partly due to pacing, imo. Pacing was pretty rough in this game, and hard to take charge of yourself. You have big moments just packed with action and content and then a long lagging period of building and growing and preparing, and no matter what you do, you're going to get those periods at some point. 

 

If only..... 

 

 

Right? Although, I'd rather have a Winter Soldier type of character as a team mate...and potential LI.

my warden was a curious mage never was ass til awakening... desan amell learned why he was kicked out of the nobility... buncha nerf herders. Hawke well every dialog was a joke

lmao, can you imagine Tallis in Legacy? (I know that's not what you mean, they were likely 2 other DLC ideas that never happened,  but I'm laughing to think of it.)

I think I realized how badly they'd handled that aspect when I saw posts from players who'd blown through all of the major plot chapters without hitting all the areas. I think one thread regular here (Alexia?) beat the game without doing much beyond 2 or three areas.

Mark of the Assassin, a DLC for DA2.

My only beef with Tallis is that she's dead weight in a fight and took the spot I usually reserve for Varric.

Oh and I don't have that DLC. I never got all the way to the end of DA2. I lost interest about 3/4ths of the way through.

I just started a new Engineer last night myself, actually. I've played this background before (Engineer, Colonist, Sole survivor) but I went full Paragon.
