I just read through my tag for when I played KOTOR, which is 99% me making fun of Carth, and relived that all over again. I 100% genuinely love that romance because it made me laugh so hard. It's so bad, but damn I am always a sucker for bad, awkward melodrama, it brings me so much joy. (see also: Anders/SarcasticHawke).

It's a broken mess but I'd put it up there with Republic Commando and Jedi Knight as one of the greatest Star Wars games. TIE Fighter should probably be there as well, but I haven't played it.

It makes about as much sense as the slouch hats in Inquisition. I don't think there's anything stopping sandwiches being invented early though.

I barely remember Jedi Knight or Tie Fighter either. I was a big Wing Commander fan back then, and remember judging Tie and X-Wing by that... I wasn't as into it.

 

I played Jedi Knight a couple of years back after it showed up on Steam and thought it did a really good job of channeling Empire level Luke doing his starbuckling thing.

 

I don't really know about TIE fighter it's supposed to be the best of the SW space sims. I like WC 3 and 4 for being Mass Effect with Mark Hamill on the Battlestar Galactica. (Edit) also WC 4 deserves some kind of award for ending with Mark Hamil fighting Malcom McDowell in a political debate.
