The Varric/Cass one annoys me in particular because 1) it misses the whole point in what she wants.. or what Varric is willing to do and 2) there's a whole thread constantly being bumped here (it's the only fan fiction thread like that in this section). Not to mention a lot of art always being posted. Almost like a campaign to just say everyone who romanced Cass themselves sucks, and that this is some superior story.
 
And given Bioware, the more fans talk about something, they'll just cater to it eventually.

Interesting. I guess "ship" is too strong a word... I mean it in the "I enjoy reading sexy fan fiction about..." sense. :-/ I certainly wouldn't wish a person who romanced them to be done a disservice. Hopefully in future if Cass features, they'll respect previous choices a la Morrigan and Leliana and keep her unavailable.

Obsidian was working on an Alien RPG, but Sega pulled the plug.

 

So did anyone watch Interstellar yet? Because I recommend it.

 

I saw it in the cinema. It was okay, but definitely worth seeing.

 

Inception and The Prestige are two of my favourite films, but Interstellar's plot was just kind of silly. Music was amazing though.

 

And very little of it contradicts with other parts of the lore. It's very well thought out.

 

Ha, tell that to the squats. The lore is just so big and over the top things get lost or eaten by Tyranids, and they can freely add things when they want to.

 

i've never played Mirror's Edge. dloaded a timed trial and still haven't played it. I'm trying to find the music that loops on the xmb menu on PS3 for the game and have had no success. went hunting on google and YT. this game has sort of a cult following doesn't it?

 

I just started downloading that to replay it. If you find the rhythm to it, it's a rush.

I wish I could discuss this without looking like a damn fool. I would put it this way, he's just my wingman. I'd be a mess if my wingman walked out the bar with the girl I was woo'ing for weeks... and doing it with zero effort. 

 

That stuff happens too. lol. That's the feeling I get though. Varric just sliding in, not doing a damn thing. When the Inquisitor is jumping through hoops.

 

Well, I doubt that most people are writing stories about Varric snatching up Cassandra from under the Inquisitor, per se; that would seem rather spiteful, but the "wingman" thing seems a bit dismissive.

No.. I'm just annoyed when a thread is bumped, like it's part of other official story discussion (and awhile back, the thread creator pretty much cut people off who wanted to challenge the pairing). Or when Varric is posted in the Cassandra thread.
 
But I can't stop anyone. Nor would I want to be the thought police, in your privacy.

well the cass thread does have a strong anti-non human presence and anything other than human warrior/loyalist mage get shunned so its a fair shot back

How on earth does people's non-canon silliness cheapen your game? Like with the examples you gave, Sam/Dean is gross to me, but it's not like the show is going to make incest canon.

I could almost see her going for that... but I think that's got more to do with reading BC's fanfic before the game came out than actually running around with Sera and getting to know her...
