I think the problem with this question is what does the user define as a "good" leader. Imprecise language!I don't hate kids! Have one and love em.
Re: Sera with a good leader...why? My Adaar was a very pragmatic, focused leader and was with Sera!

That's a good question, Dazzle.
What is your definition of a good Inquisitor?

It is hard to be a good Inquisition leader and try to romance Sera
I don't know... i certainly had no problem romancing her that way.

Spent a few minutes reading last night's kerfluffle over fan fic. My two cents: Some of it's good. Some of it's bad. The best of it enriches our perspective on the characters and enhances our appreciation of the universe we're discussing and writing about. The worst of it goes way off the reservation and wastes our time if we choose to indulge it.
The good news is we get to choose our level of participation. I haven't heard yet of anybody being forced to accept someone's ship so I don't get the idea of how it could cheapen your game experience. You can always ignore it. If it pops up in threads you can say "I don't buy this" and or choose not to participate. Could Varric and Cass be in love? I suspect they harbor a secret admiration for each other and we know Cass likes his smutty lit but have the hots for each other? My opinion: hell no! But by all means write that tale if you want and I might even get some enjoyment from reading it if you write it well. ![]()

I only meant cheapen because one requires effort and actual courting, and the other is just rewarding Varric for existing. If I were to treat that realistically, it makes Cass look like she's just screwing with the Inquisitor, never had any of her standards about romance, giving him the runaround...until she just caves in.
I wouldn't stop anyone's ideas though.. Nor can I. I just think it's flaunting when it's part of official story discussion or I have to see Varric ass grabbing pics in the Cass thread. It gets old.

Eh well ignore it. It's just people having fun with the characters. At the end of the day your game is still your game and your vision of what that game world is will only affected if you choose to let it be so. All of these official story threads have tangents and banter and we can't complain about people complaining we're off-topic if we're not cool with some of the silliness ourselves. I need to see that Cass/Varric pic too by the way as it sounds hilarious. Someone feel free to link me to that if you want. ![]()

I'd get a console if I still didn't live at home. I'm a pc player by neccessity; my mom hates video games and in trying to declutter the house sold my wii and all it's games.
Ah, I see... For me, it's the only way I know and can play games. Keyboard and mouse are quick, precise, and have a myriad of buttons (some mouses - and yeah, I know I spelled mice wrong - have as many buttons as a controller), so they're my go-to input devices, no matter what.
I have a flight stick, but not being HOTAS (and lack of TrackIR, every now and then) prevents it from being used as much as it deserves.

I don't get as bad hand cramps from playing with controller. Honestly I just like the way they feel in my hand. There's a big clique on tumblr devoted to hundreds of pics.. and yet I can't find that one now. ![]()
I can ignore it.. I've been polite up to this point, and don't stalk that one cass/varric thread, for example. But this is just my thought... If the topic gets brought up, I offer my opinion, but this time it spun out of control.

I mean, I don't make threads or go out of the way about this. And I'm not the thought police. People can do what they want. That's the extent of my politeness. But I do have strong opinions about it. I'll be honest if the topic is brought up. I hate it.

That's a good question, Dazzle.
What is your definition of a good Inquisitor?
Oh man, that really depends on the situation and the genre for me.
I played Inquisition very differently 5 times, and I'd say 4/5 of my inquisitors were good leaders. (Ignore my ME playthroughs here, that's war, totally different.
) I think a good leader makes the best of each situation they're thrown into, while keeping the number of casualties as low as possible.

I think developers need to be using less buttons not more.
Generally I prefer the feel of dual thumbsticks for movement controls, though the loss of precision can be an issue if the game doesn't compensate for it.
big clique
Oxymoron. Sorry.

Now you made me so curious I actually read what you talked about last night and I must say, this is really a super nice thread if what Magic said is already considered impolite and offending. I sort of feel the unnecessary necessity to say "But he's really a good guy, you know?"
