Blue is the Warmest Color. a film. I'm...conflicted about it. maybe...it's a cultural thing. i...has anyone else saw this movie?
I have not watched the movie yet, but I have read the graphic novel (from which the movie originated). I have mixed feelings about it too, if you wish to talk about it, I'm here. ![]()

That probably refers to the writers of the articles and not me, but Imma take it. *preens*
![]()
Actually, it refers to both the writers AND you.
Hell, it refers to the entire Sera thread.
And whoa, the thread's going a mile a minute again! Woohoo! So, how long until we overtake shiny butthead mages again...?
(Totally joking. I like Solas.)

I'm guessing this isn't post campaign content, which kind of bums me out, but hopefully it will be fun, and heck yeah Avaar. Always had a fondness for them, especially now that I have read the story of Tyrdda.
I was stoked to get that staff.
I wonder if my mage Quizzy will be remembered the same way.

What the heck, Serza. That sucks!
Bah, what sucks more is the wondering "Am I really addicted...?"
I mean, I do more or less fine without the gaming...
But then again, I've the laptop, aye...?
I need that answer. Like salt.

Oh. Friggin' great.
See, I've this funny family thing going on right now.
Ma thinks I'm addicted to gaming - WELL OF COURSE IT LOOKS LIKE THAT (wait, isn't the first step for an addict to deny they're addicted...?) IF I NEVER BELIEVED PEOPLE ENOUGH IN THE PAST FEW YEARS TO MAKE FRIENDS.
So, what happened. One day, I come back from work, think "Hell yeah, let's play some XCOM after a hard day's work!" and...
I find my PC stashed away on a friggin' closet. Best friggin' day ever. No Sera for me for a closer unspecified amount of time. Also, no DAI DLC for me.
I'll just go shout-profanities myself to sleep now.
Ouch.
Is there any way to reason with them? Also, erm, how old are you if you don't mind me asking? As in, are you old enough to be able to tell your parents (gently) to butt out, even if you are still living at home?
And don't get offended, but another pertinent question is obviously...do they have a point? I've known people get genuinely addicted to gaming, and it's something I've been at risk of myself (gaming is a coping mechanism for depression/anxiety for me, and I have to watch myself). I haven't been around here long and don't know you, so please don't take that the wrong way.
Just expressing concern is all. ![]()

Ps3
maybe getting an Xbox one isn't such a bad idea? All of those exclusives are hurting me.
I really like mine, but PS4 probably has the edge at the moment. You can't go wrong though.

Depends on how history goes down, but that was fascinating. That whole Codex series has so much going on in it.

I get the feeling I'll just be remembered as the Inquisitor on the box. The legend will just outgrow the truth.

I'm nearing twenty. As for whether or not there's a point...
That's what I'm asking myself. So, no, you're not offending. More like hitting the same question I am.
I'm not sure whether or not it's true.
Are you over 18? If so then take it back and plug it in.
Good advice, but mind you, I have to actually live here...
I'll handle it. The one nice thing my former wish to become a soldier left me with, is the will to endure sh*t. Well, it was the wish, and some of the things in my life.
But I'm not complaining. I think I'm still a relatively spoiled kid. Could be worse. I mean, I have something to eat when I'm hungry, and there's not a war raging around me.

Could also mean that. Why not? Might be some interesting reading about Lady's drug inducing habits.
Lol I'm afraid I'm very vanilla when it comes to that. Pretty sure I'll never try marihuana even if it comes legal.

whats it about
A story about a young girl who starts to question her sexuality, falls in love with another girl and, at least in the novel, of course ends in tragedy. With absolutely zero reason.

Wouldn't it be funny tho if it was post-game, and you got to the Avaar clan and Solas was just there. "Oh hey, uh...this is awkward. Look, I needed some me time, but then I got bored...stumbled across these fellas, they're pretty neat." And Quizzie is like, what. This is seriously the only living culture you like? Did you just call them neat???? And then some Avaar comes out with a giant elfroot bong and Solas is like, shrug, I like their parties.

Are you close enough with your parents to try and have a discussion? Ask about their concerns, maybe work out an agreement like only gaming at weekends, X hours per day, etc? I'm not asking for answers, just teasing out ideas for you. It's very hard to know if you have a problem or not, as it is with just about anything you can become addicted to. The fact you're questioning and not on the defensive is surely a good sign, though. ![]()

This is how I felt when Vivienne moved my fictional things; imagine what a nightmare I am when people rearrange my real things!
Oh, I would have paid the movers to move her out of Skyhold if she did that. If she tried to argue or pushed back in anyway, I simply would have nicely picked her up, fireman carried her to the movers cart and waved as the cart left with her in it. lol

If the console is yours, as in you bought it so you own it, I think you absolutely have a right to take it back.
"Mom, I respect that you're concerned, but I own my console, and I can't condone you handling my possessions without my permission. Please don't unplug it again."
Respectful, but firm. You're 20 now, yes you have to live there, but they also have to realize that you're not a little boy anymore.

As most lesbian stories, smh.
The movie has a different ending though, which is drama.
