I just got the game to work without crashing at the war table, which the last patch caused, by updating the Nvidia driver on Friday. Now there is a new patch. What new hell awaits...

Just let me know if you get a directx crash at any point. I'm not re-installing tell I know thats fixed. If it means missing out on dlc, so be it.

I was getting direct x crashes on the war table with patch 5. That all ended when I installed the new Nvidia driver on Thursday or Friday. I played for 3 hours yesterday with no crash. Figures they'd release a new patch today just when the game was fixed for me.
I just got mods to work and my card up to date and it's finally not crashing every five seconds...may hold off on installing that patch since it has nothing I particularly want and will undoubtedly break everything for me again.
At the end of this week. I will order a gtx 980. It may take some time to get it installed as I don't know how to do that stuff and I am not borking my computer cause I trusted some youtube vid. But when I get it installed I will be curious to see how the game performs on that. But the latest nvidia drivers worked well. The problem is they've patched again and they break something every time!!
F*ck, I'm going to have to make Chloe my avi as well. Just gonna get one from tomorrows episode probably. Maybe. I dunno.
That's what I love about this game! Everything you do, it feels like it will come back to bite you and it's f*cking great feeling that in a game!

I went looking to buy the 2nd ep as it was saying in the menu it's available to buy, I skip to the PSN store. Nope. So I went ahead and bought the season pass, I'm weak.
I did the same, really I'm hoping for Chloe and Rachel, also. I just enjoyed the picture of Chloe and Sam. Just keeping my fingers crossed for one of the combinations to happen.

Warren poor guy has it bad for Max, I reckon we'll have to address this white elephant at some point. I just wanna hug that girl erm what's her name yunno the abstinence chick, poor thing is having a rough time of it.

Haha, I had reinstalled Origin and forgot to change the settings so I just caught my game mid-install of the new patch and put a halt to that. slams staff down on bridge. YOU. SHALL.NOT.PATCH.
(I'll do it later if I hear there arent any problems but right now...no....I finally just started playing the dang game again!)
The only thing that's pissed me off with the patches so far, is them fixing things that they didnt need to fix, such as the infinite gold exploit, or the thousand cuts not using up your focus meter....

I can write up a quick and easy install guide for ya if you want. It isn't all that hard to install a new gfx card or ram. The only thing that throws people off is the fact that it does require some force to properly seat one or the other. So people typically wind up with a half seated card or ram because they are afraid of breaking their motherboard.

But would she want the responsibility? Would she want possibly millions of people looking up to her? I'm assuming she prefers to be hidden amongst crowds rather than staring on a podium. I just think she wouldn't want to be Divine given the choice. She might do very well as a Divine, but I don't think she would think she would.

I am thinking about having a friend who can do it come out and help me with it so he can show me the ropes. But I'll keep your offer in mind. With him it will just be scheduling a time to do it but getting the card first will be what I do.

I'll just watch the mod forums. They tend to be a bit less....over the top about it all, but generally bring up any performance or otherwise issues.

They probably are more level-headed about it. I might give it a whirl tonight if I have time. If I encounter anything really bad I'll post it here. Won't bother with minor issues though.
