Yay to that. Unfortunately (or fortunately) for the folks over at the Vivienne thread, I strongly feel too, that she will be the one race and gender gated. It just balances things out, which seem to be the formula that is aimed for, with IronBull and Josephine, the two coincidentally Bi LI confirmed as non-race gated.

idk they sort of suprised me with a race gated plus gender gated romance, but that doesn't mean the other race gated romance is going to be as restricted, if it is indeed the last one to be announced it could go a lot of ways like they could be either bi and race restricted, or it may be one of the male restricted romances and the last one not be race gated.

I want Vivi to be bi so I can have 3 choices for a yuri romance lol, but I know how you feel on Sera I don't want her race gated at all especially against humans but as I said I doubt both elves are race gated and I doubt they would race gate two female options

Hey guys a few minutes ago in a separate thread Allan confirmed that in that David Gaider tweet about the last 2 race gates, that Gaider was not saying its not true the last 2 romance options are the race gates, he was simply saying it was not true that he ever said that, in other words he was saying he never confirmed or denied it, so chances are the last romance option may be the next race gate. If you want to see the post it is on page 24 of the Solas confirmed a romance (elf only) thread in Scuttlebutt

Anecdotally, at the Cosplay parade panel yesterday, Allegra (Josie's voice) asked one of the male cosplayers (who was cosplaying the Warden) who he wanted to romance in Inquisition. He answered Sera, seemingly serious. She told him she was F/F only. Then he said Leliana, at which point the audience laughed because Leliana isn't an option.

 

It turns out Allegra was purposefully trying to tease him into saying Josephine which he didn't. She then used her Josephine voice and said "I don't need you anyway," as he walked back from the stage. It was pretty amusing to see. I wish I had recorded it.

To be fair, many of the people attending the panels yesterday didn't appear particularly knowledgeable. One girl noted she was just starting DA:O. Another guy was asking what systems DA:I will be out on.

 

Which I think makes sense all things considered. Ya know, like, not everybody posts on the glorious BSN 24/7.
