And just to interject from a couple hours ago...

 

I wonder what her story is. I figure she's being bullied because of her sex life.

I didn't hear of this. Only what people were saying about her, like what Victoria (the b*tch) was saying. They were talking about her sex tape and stuff. Made me think she has had sex and it was filmed and made public without consent.

There was no tape, it's just others mocking her for what she believes in.

...that it is more than simple bullying about abstinence.  Consider the note thrown at Kate in the lesson at the start.  Consider the other message "Kate twerks for God" (or something like that).  Consider how she reacts to being photographed instead of helped.  Consider what Chloe told Max at the lighthouse.  Consider... Nathan looking at images on his camera as the first episode winds down.

 

Nathan got her drunk and/or drugged, took pictures and/or (most likely) video, spread it around.  Quite possibly raped Kate too.

 

That's what I think.

I think that picture will be used as either blackmail or evidence against him. I reckon he is a good guy so taking the picture is probably a bad move but that's my view on it. Stepping in to help also means you have another avenue of possibility to go down with Kate. I believe she knows something that is going on, so helping her might help in getting her to open up to you. My thoughts though. I don't have a clue on how it's going to play out.  

 

If you photo Kate being hassled...

...you can use it to make Dimwit Madsen back down from Chloe.  Which is what I did the first time, before I figured out the stuff I mentioned above.  No way I'm going to photograph Kate in trouble after that.  Plus, helping is so much better anyway.

 

Of course, how you deal with Dimwit (who will of course turn out to be yeah, sure, a control freak veteran with possible PTSD issues, but also helpful in dealing with stuff rather than a definite villain badguy type) in Chloe's room will come back and bite you big time... like everything else will!

Like-less again. DAMMIT. I agree with all of this. Female Qunari have definitely grown on me. Mae was one of my favourite non-game characters. IMHO she was handled pretty well.

Srsly now, we've been in Ferelden for 3 games now (except da2 but surprise surprise, Hawke is Fereldan). We've met more fereldans than Tevinters or Rivaini or even Antivans. Enough is enough.

 

Thedas is big. Yet the games focus on Ferelden ridiculously lot.

It's just how those pieces seem to fit together for me -  no guarantees I know what I'm talking about!  And she definitely does need a friendly hug anyway.

 

 

Is it weird that I like how nice you can be to people in that game?  Seriously a major case of using your powers for good.... and just being good anyway.

That rewind is pretty damn handy ain't it, a few times I had to go back and re-do stuff, just hope I chose well eep.
