Sure. Just like developpers don't appreciate the time and effort that went into earning the money I bought the game with. When you make a product, hype it up and ultimately can't deliver on your promises, don't whine when people complain. You brought it on yourself.

Well that is the flip side of the coin. If it costs a lot to make it it also cost a lot to buy it. I said the developer would have a valid point if they stated "It takes a lot to make each area." That's fair but it still seems a lot to ask for content that I suspect was ready a while ago or could have been ready and is now trotted out. I still feel, for me personally, that they delivered a good game. I can't ****** too loudly when I have certainly sunk several hundred hours into it already can I? Before we go round in circles on this I'd agree with you Cat that I don't, as I look on the specifics, feel enthused enough to go get this right away. I probably will get it but it just doesn't offer enough to make it a priority purchase.

That's why it was called BioWare Social Network.  Your explanation holds no water.

Well, yeah, it was called that but it didn't necessarily mean that. It was designed to share knowledge about the game, and get answers for questions. BioWare wouldn't make a forum for people to just "hang out". It is a place for that information to circulate amongst players. That information. It wasn't made to spill your life story, or make friends across the globe or talk about other games. It was made purely for talk of the game. The like system was implemented for that reason, so you didn't get pages and pages of answers, all saying the exact same thing.

But, yes. It was called the "Social" Network, so you have a point.

Now though, it has sort of drifted into that "hang out" zone for me and probably a lot of other people. I do think the like limit should be lifted, but to be fair, most days, I don't run out.

Hence the entire reason I will never, ever buy a game Peter Molyneux has any part of. Because that's all the man ever does and people are still quick to forgive him and by his latest game. He has also acknowledge this several times, apologized for it, said it will not happen again and he continues to over hype his game and promise features he can not deliver.

YES! That fiend fooled me twice with Fable 2 and 3, but never again. After Fable 2 I got Oblivion (my first TES game) and after Fable 3 I got Red Dead Redemption. The contrast in depth was... mind boggling.

I do enjoy those games though. They are fun to play. Just not as great as he makes them out to be...

I didn't play Fable 1 until after I had played both 2 and 3, so perhaps I don't have quite the same view on it as a lot of other people have.

The reverse for me. Fable 2 and 3 went for a steampunk look and feel which I love. There are so very few steampunk games and to have them suck so much. *weep* I have been told Dishonoured is interesting. We'll see.

For me it really depends on how they are handled. If guns suddenly appear and there really isn't any explanation as to why or how, it creates issues. But, if lets say they have a flushed out explanation and reasoning behind it, I'm ok with it. Warhammer Fantasy handled the inclusion of firearms pretty well. They are rare enough that you won't see an entire army packing them around and most of them are a advanced musket, not something as complex as lets say a mini-gun.

Dishonored is more rewarding if you really try to play the game without offing a single person. I never managed it. I got close but not quite.

I managed it with Dishonored and the two expansion packs. Daud easily became one of my favorite characters.

It's nice to meet someone who did. I came close but it is not easy to do. I liked Daud's stuff the best (talk about good dlc cause Dishonored had verrrry good dlc that was worth every penny). Probably because it had that element of redemption which is always a little more interesting than revenge as a motivation.

Yeah, I was terrified they would kill him off with the second DLC. I'm so glad they didn't. He had kind of a tragic story if you think about it.

I'm not big on cyberpunk. Just don't like the look and feel. I only ever played on tabletop, so you can be anything you want.
