To be fair, we really haven't gotten a good look at Sera.

 

Exactly. We can't really be sure what Sera will look like yet, because sometimes slight changes are made between the concept art and what ends up in the game. As an example, I believe this is concept art of Ashley from before ME1 released:

Here's hoping that "Sera" is actually Vellana from Dragonage Awakening I really liked her character and she hated humans with a passion at the end of awakening she , like the warden disappeared

 

Pretty sure Sera is a rogue. Velanna's sister Seranni would be a better guess... if she wasn't tainted.

I hope Sera is neither a character that has appeared anywhere else in the series, or a relative or friend of anyone who has. I want Sera to be Sera, with no connection to previous characters.

Well, her being a brand new character is more than likely.. so I see no harm in discussing about non-existant connections and speculations.

Personally, I really like the blonde look. While I really like this design, it looks too serious for a "Bratty thief"

Yeah, if she looked like that, I'd be happy, but the glimpse of her in the gameplay footage looked much more like the newer concept art.

I do not see why she couldn't have this "look" and still be fun. She's a world class rogue, looking dangerous doesn't mean she needs to be mopey. But if she is Mission Vaio take two, then the blond look will fit much better.
