as does the chantry.... perhaps im missing something...please elaborateThat's not what I meant. He's actually right.
The Dalish think themselves perfect and so they're unable to find the truth.

The Chantry has nothing to do with the subject.

The funny thing about being hungry is that if you put up with it for a while, the sensation actually diminishes. It's not as if hunger gets worse and worse with time. I learned this when I lost about 20 kilos two years ago. Also: Hot drinks without milk or sugar can help lessen the effects.Very good. I've started counting calories, and I seriously did not realize just how much I ate before. So when I started cutting back on intake my body got upset.
I was cold all the time and starving, but since I kept with it, my body's adjusted!

According to Mike Laidlaw, there's now an option to pull Tac Cam out further on PC when outdoors...

I'll have to try that out in the new patch.

Cold water actually helps more I find. It should make me feel colder, except it doesn't.
It's like the ice shoos away both the hunger and the shivers!
I'm being very good about watching the time, knowing that lunch is around the corner and so I can wait instead of going to the vending machine.

See, I don't know how well I would be able to fight through that hungry feeling. Everytime I start feeling that hunger kick in, I'm on the snacks. Though, I've started drinking water a little more now so perhaps I just need a kick up the backside with this as well. ![]()

I think what Qun is getting at is that, if you believe wholeheartedly in your belief, would you be prepared to see it differently? The Dalish (the majority anyway) won't even fathom seeing their belief and their history in a different light because they believe that it is true and that they are the "perfect" for knowing it. If anything, the City Elves know the truth, they just don't "know" it. ![]()

I'm trying to ask myself if I'm hungry or thirsty before I get to the fridge, because the body is ridiculously bad at recognising thirst signals and misreads them as hunger.

I should probably try that actually. I notice I eat a lot more than I drink which, I'm not entirely sure if that is the normal thing or not but, yeah, I've noticed it. ![]()

If you drink first and are still hungry after about 10 minutes, then it's likely you're hungry. But I mostly just try to stick to regular meal times: Breakfast 9 a.m., Lunch - noon, dinner - 6:00 and occasionally a snack between 8:00-10:00.

Read it again.
It's demeaning to be made to explain yourself over and over.

Yes! You use "dinner." Everyone I know, besides my family, uses the word "tea" to name that meal. It really irks me. ![]()
