I don't think any of those choices can be categorized easily. They all have renegade/paragon elements, and it kind of screws with you with the whole color mismatch and TIM and Anderson representing them.

 

I would also say that Synthesis was a lot like what Saren proposed... yet people can see the good in the Synthesis choice too.

well I can categorize them..on my belief....we get one evil...(controle)...one messed up (synthesis)..and one Good (Destroy),...and one Doom them all (the 4th choice)....

I wanted them alive of course . But Bioware screw us over....and no matter what , I refuse the 2 others choices . So sacrifice must be made...

thats the common interpetation. I personally prefer destroy i reason is; i flush when i get done the others leave it unflushed and sitting there smelling up the place

Looking back, I've noticed every character I've ever RP'd in any RPG fits under the Blood Knight and Because I'm Good At It tropes with either a little Knight In Sour Armour and Snark Knight or The Stoic thrown in for good measure.

It's warm. Not much swimming going on though. I don't do holidays where you just kick around in a hotel or on the beach. I prefer to visit places and do stuff. Not much tan as I use sunscreen!

Oh man, I feel a need to see every cutscene ever with my own character, so I've basically got anywhere from 5-10 characters in each Dragon Age who are all radically different from one another.

 

My first pt is always a noble female rogue though.

Loghain is like a "titled" hero. Much like Cass and the Warden. Hero of River Dane. He's mythical... that's why people like Threnn are loyal.

B*TCH, YOU JUST COMPARE LOGHAIN TO DA WARDEN?!! Nah, I get you. I empathised with Threnn a bit. It's one of those real metagaming moments... My IQ haven't a clue what's happening really, but in my wider canon it's like "WHUT?!" I did like her as a character though. Unfortunately first time around, she didn't make it...

I picked Destroy too, but I didn't see that different than siding against Legion earlier.

Hum..I did ? when ? Sure..if ya can help then HELP! but when ya fire the big Gun...ya have no choices . I cant take the 2 others choices , I prefer sacrifying the geth and Edi then use synthesis....or controle . They DIe free !! they dont live with something forced on them....wich is synthesis . The 4 choices are total bs anyway...if it were to me..I wouldve done them differently

Yeah im conflicted on the slvery thing.... i have a disdain for it and consistently work to prevent it but i can see and even understand the reasons

*Smack* take that back....there is no reasoning in enslaving others....if ya can win wars ya should use that brain to find money as well....enslaving others for bucks and 'necessary actions and sacrifice' are exuses of the weak .

I think my biggest problem in ME3, y'all are going to think I'm so weird for this, is the kid motif. Why are there children popping up everywhere in my game? So freaking irritating...

Very much so, actually. If only for being a "Hero of..." like the Warden and Cass.
 
But also.. I see Loghain mirroring some Wardens rather closely. He's all about taking extreme measures to handle the blight. The Warden can be played that way too. I think it's a pretty realistic way to play it like this. You're basically starting off with nothing and a new recruit. That's why my Warden became a Reaver... he was desperate for more and more power. He thought he'd be doomed without golems and dragon blood and what have you. Much like Loghain thought he needed to enslave elves and work with Tevinter, just to make some money.

Very true. My Warden was committed to the strict Warden code, but always tried to take the "paragon" route when possible. She wasn't naive, though. Sometimes awful sacrifice was necessary. Loghain's actions weren't justifiable to her though. She saw him as being too obsessed with the Orlesian threat. Her father Teyrn Bryce wouldn't have stood for it, and neither did she. No sir!
