Me neither. None of those final choices really feel like they are connected to Paragon, Renegade or Neutral.

Never saw this as renegade, truthfully.
I wouldn't exactly call it merciful though either.
I got that plot was not the point of those games. They put a fantasy cloth over everything but it's just window dressing. It's all about the fights and making them ridiculously hard. I get why people like that but I realized I need story. I need motivations and moments of wonder between the fighting or plot. It'll be a big game though I am sure. That series or publisher has devoted fans. But that whole kill 15 guys but be prepared to lose everything well you have to be able to buy into that or not play I guess. I ended up choosing to play other things. I think I got Dark Souls 2 at the same time as Divinity Original Sin and I ended up being sucked into the latter more.
I was nodding..till...that last part..

I like both, but when push comes to shove, I'm with you. I'm more of a story fan.
But then, half of the time, I'm annoyed by game stories too. I even kind of like the Dragon Age books more than the games. lol

I had a feeling you'd home in on that. ![]()

I actually like the 4th choice as a storyline. I like the way it was written and the cutscene for it.
As a choice though, they really scraped the bottom of the barrel...

Don't get me wrong. I like a tough fight too. D;OS had a final boss fight where the boss had like 2,000 health and could spawn minions whevever. He was immune to everything except two spells (and if you hadn't gotten the most powerful of those in the previous 19 levels you were SOL) and so you had to whittle him down. On top of that they gave you a weaker npc to defend from his attacks while you whittled him down and held off his minions and if she died-GAME OVER. It took me six attempts or something the first time and the final attempt lasted about 90 minutes. When it was over I was leaping around like a happy fool! Tough fights are fine but gotta be a pay-off or reward or way of rolling forward...

The sense of wonder comes from the insane boss fights, getting your *** kicked and finally defeating the boss lol. True the game doesn't really have much story, but what is there was interesting enough I guess( for me ). All in all I enjoyed all the souls series, but I admit it's not for everyone.I got that plot was not the point of those games. They put a fantasy cloth over everything but it's just window dressing. Honestly, most games now days don't do much for me and that sucks. I love video games especially RPG, but most end up disappointing me. The last one I played that I really liked was Fallout 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur. I think I will eventually reach a point where I just give up on gaming in general... Sigh.
Kingdoms of Amalur was an awesome game. Shame it didn't do very well.
I'm not saying I liked it but since I hated them all and thought the other choices were.... just no. To me it was my goal through three games. I hated the extended cut because before it came out I could still play the game using a head cannon that Maybe those two things didn't happen, after words there was no doubt. Haven't touched it since except for Citadel. Really sucks. Can't play knowing that some of the major parts of the game that made me happy don't mean ****.
I don't think I'm getting your meaning, I'm sorry. Haven't had my coffee yet; can you extrapolate more?

I don't believe it. Good games will be made. You may have to sift through rubbish to find them but they will be there. I do think too many things are being pushed out buggy and barely ready and that's a situation that has to change. But withholding our dollars is the best way to turn that around.

I just had to bug you for it. When are you going to finish?

And Danielle please spoiler if it gives away an ME 3 ending. I am not at the end yet. ![]()

Essentially, all of those good things Dani did were pointless in the general sense of things because of the ending, which I'm inclined to agree with. I can still play the game though, but it is disappointing having that feeling.

I just got PoE so I know I will be playing that this weekend. Still playing a DAI save. However I may grab Citadel and play it before the ending. Alexia thinks that makes more sense narratively. If I don't finish this weekend it will probably be by the end of the next week.
Where am I in the plot? I just defended the Citadel. I've just gone to help the Quarian fleet and I've successfully stormed the Geth ship. I think when I left off I was heading for a Reaper base to further help the Quarians.
