Well, to be fair, this specific breakup happens pretty late in the game so I wouldn't expect banter for it. I mostly expected the celebration talk to change.

IDK if there's banter if you break up with her earlier and go with another. I never heard mention of it. I didn't even know about the IB/Sera one you said something... I should look it up. I'm guessing IB isn't too unhappy?

 

Patrick Weekes did say that if you break up with IB and get with Sera, you get a hilarious banter... i assume IB took it well.

 It'll be interesting to see whether DLC goes story heavy next to address criticisms or if it stays the Jaws of Hakkon course.

 

 

 

I read a quote from Laidlaw a long time ago where he said they were going to do different types of DLC, ones that added to the world (which I'm guessing JoH is) and ones that followed the characters/story...so....hopefully...their existing plans already are to switch, and the criticism will just help them refine that. 

 

The Sera/IB banter if you break up with him and then go her is pretty funny. I didn't get it in game but I heard it on a video or something awhile ago.

They could add some dialogue/banter in dlc.

It's odd though, you get banter if you break up with say, IB and go with Sera. Same with others. The fact that the break up isn't mentioned in banter is kinda..... lame.

I find it cute that Sera comforts Cass if she breaks up with the quizzy tho. Kinda wish the companions would comfort the quizzy too and not just the companions.

 

 

Then again the quizzy initiates the break up so that's probably the reason.

I think Sera dumps an elf though after the Temple business (if you don't pick the agreeable option).  I say 'think' because I'm not really sure.

That happened to me last time. It wasn't super obvious but I knew the romance was no more. Was more of an experiment (and I wanted to beat Nightmare anyway), so it didn't bother me too much.

Dunno about Sera, but nobody really comforted my Lavellan after Solas...after he left, too. Leliana was the only one who tried. Some friends they were. :S

The only person who said anything about Blackwall was Cullen, and that was just because he had to be in the scene....I don't think there would be anything otherwise. 

 

The reason I like Sera's romance quest so much is becuase it's one of the rare instances in the game where your relationship feels acknowledged in any meaningful way....the banters were nice and all, but with the bug, I didn't even get any romance banters/comments on my first PT, haha. It was extremely jarring to have my character's LI in jail because he had lied about his identity and not be able to talk to anyone about it. It's not just that it would make the relationship feel more real,  it would make the platonic friendships feel more real, ya know?

Just realized that Sera is the only companion that Approves when a dwarf Inquisitor picks "a dwarf will stand for us all" option in your In Your Heart Shall Burn. Not even Varric does that.

 

That girl sure does love her dwarves, even if she thinks their a little weird.

I'm still peeved that nobody even commented on my entire clan being destroyed in Wycome. Seriously, is anyone going to mention that?
