My Brosca had to kill her best friend too, and no one said anything. Immediately afterwards Alistair, her LI started making fun of dwarves in his next banter, lmao. I was so mad. Origins is def the worst offender on that front...although Inquisition has a lot of ???, the Clan Lavellan thing being the biggest one imo.
Oh yeah, Leske is just as bad.
I actually did think there were some good moments in Origins were the Warden can actually have a decent heart to heart with some of the companions. I remember there was one conversation with Wynne for instance where the Warden can basically confide in her that she's actually bloody terrified right now. It felt better than Inquisition on that front, anyway. But...acknowledgement of some of the horrible things that happened to the Warden in the origin-related stuff would have been nice.
Like this Isabela/Hawke moment, when Hawke's mom dies. Seriously, i dont even remember a moment where your LI actually comforts you or hell, even a friend after all the heavy work the quizzy endures everyday.
Headcanons are good and all but it'd be nice to see that.
Cmon, the protag is allowed to have a breakdown moment and get some comfort. Grr.
Edit, dear god ninjas everywhere.
Isabela's scene was pretty great. She has no idea what the hell she's supposed to say, but she makes the attempt anyway because she does care. Take notes, Inquisition companions. :S
Not gonna lie though, Aveline's scene was probably my favourite. Awwww.
