I'll likely SPEW it up my first playthrough.
Playing an elven female will be great. Literally half the team wants in your pants. Makes you feel special
Too bad that like IRL, it's in majority men.

Authors can have strengths and weaknesses. I can trust George R. R. Martin to write a dark fantasy setting because he's done that. While I may trust him to write a children's book better than mine because he's a better technical writer than me, based on my experience with his previous work I'm not sure if he'd be the best candidate for a book like that.
Patrick Weekes' first attempt at writing Samantha Traynor was not particularly flattering at all. It came from good intentions, but read like an after school special. Fortunately he had other people to collaborate with to point it out. We consider it a good thing that we have as many women on our writing team as we do, because it helps by bringing in different perspectives and experiences which can challenge some things. Like that story that came out some time ago where a writer wrote something, and upon review someone pointed out that it came across a lot differently, which the writer did not want to depict. Once it was called out, no one could "unsee" that anymore, so the scene was altered.
So no, I don't agree that an author is either good or bad. I feel they can have strengths and weaknesses in what they write about.
amusingly Mr Martin has done a children's book, The Ice Dragon ,published 1980.
I'm looking more forward to romancing her as a female human, since she doesn't like nobles I want to know why she makes an exception for the Inquisitor
That brings up the question of whether or not she will like the Dalish Inquisitor.
You know, with the whole "Elf who lives in a city" and "Nature sucks" stuff that's supposedly true.
I hope they will get along...
Well it depends I guess on what kind of character you play as, maybe your Dalish Elf is an oddball in the Dalish and wants to see the city and experience life outside the forest, for example my Female Human isn't going to be very religious even though she was raised as an Andrastian she also doesn't care that she is a noble she wants to be seen as just a woman, she is going to be sarcastic and crude like my Hawke but she will be serious when she needs to be, she enjoy's her drink to lol
That brings up the question of whether or not she will like the Dalish Inquisitor.
I think you are blowing simple dislikes out of proportion.

It's not necessarily going to be an issue; Merrill got along with people in the Kirkwall Alienage, made friends, and even reassured Nyssa that Hawke and her were there to help. Maybe Lavellan and Sera could be the Thedas equivalent of Vestra and Jenny for Dragon Age (romantically involved adventures who are awesome, solve mysteries, and kick butt).

I think that would apply more to Adaar and Sera. Qunari and Elf look the most different from eachother then any of the other races. Much more similar to Lizard/Human. lol

Silurian/Human. ![]()
Looking at TR's post above, I suppose the 'tongue' comment would fit, too. ![]()
This one is one of my favs for..... many reasons.
Me too
.
I really hope their are piercings in the CC this time, I want to give my inquisitor a tongue stud now
There's a new article on Skyhold: [game informer]
"Because Skyhold is where the members of the Inquisition gather, you can wander around the grounds and find all of your allies. They all find their own corners and make themselves at home...Sera is more comfortable in the bar."
This is for you, guys.... <spoiler> </spoiler>
+1, ran out of likes, this is awesome
Heck, they would raise my hype level with that game informer article - if it was possible.
Hmm. I wonder how much time I'm spending in the Skyhold's tavern...

Drinking buddies! One toast for every perfectly laid shot with the bow ![]()
Haha, Inquisition Drinking Game.
Take a shot every time Sera hits the mark with a bow!
Who's game?
That article was good to read. Made me smile a bit after feeling rubbish since yesterday ![]()
I quite like the idea of being able to kiss our li's again though. I am actually quite tempted to leave Sera out of one mission just so I can go straight to the bar when I get back and give her a kiss ![]()
(I will probably do that even if she went with me but whatever
)
So much awesome art I can't LIKE it all! I ran out! Oh no wait I'm still here - I must've run out of LIKEs instead...
So I head that the romance scenes will happen at skyhold? if true, what happens if you break up!? It will most likely be at the bar, and that can be messy/expensive/fun.
Where does Sera sleep then?

Too many dongs, could have done with some more vajayjay, preferably Cass' that's the Holy Grail right there or even more up market Viv!
*Sigh* the friendzone awaits my fem Inquisy with those two but on the plus side I got a Dalish/City elf romance to plough through, deft hands READY! ![]()
Too many dongs, could have done with some more vajayjay,
This I agree with.
I think I'll go with a Dalish first too (hey, we can decorate Skyhold with Dalish crap!). Need to figure out a class.
