Might try that actually.
So far decking him out in rogue armour and raising his crit chance has worked for me but he really struggles with some enemies.
Ironically, I've gotten Sera to work as a better offensive tank than him.
Because Tempests are what....?
AWESOME!

This one?
Iron Bull: So, you and the boss huh?
Sera: I know right?
Iron Bull: Didn't think you were the kind to bed your way to power.
Sera: Power bed it's way to me. Big beautiful difference.
Inquisitor: You tell him! love you too.
Sera: See?
Iron Bull: I stand corrected.
I never heard this version.
When I get this, she just gets mad at him and tells him to shut up because "it matters" or something.

I have finally heard the Sera and Cassandra "make it worth it, be happy" banter!

Oh, snap... So, what's the issue on your end?
(Let's maybe discuss in the group, though...)

My favorite party about it is that the Inquisitor gets pulled into the conversation to participate. I like that finally the PC is no longer an outsider to banter and has options

In short: it relates to what we're discussing, but I haven't really felt driven to write it like I have the others I've done.

I don't seem to get many like that, though, not sure why. I guess it's probably because there aren't that many of them!

I haven't cycled through all of the banter yet, but there are several that I know of so far. I know there's a couple with Cass and Sera (romance specific mostly), Varric and Sera and Vivienne and Dorian, aside from the one that always triggers in the prologue with Varric.

Quiz has to be the most boring Bio protagonist in quite some time.
And I don't think it's the VA's fault at all. It's just the character in general. They are nothing next to, say, Hawke or Shepard.

I don't really agree with that. Keep in mind that Origins was all about the protagonist and more importantly, their origin. In DA2, it was all about the Hawke family.
In Inquisition the focus in on the Inquisition as a whole, and getting it to the strength it needs to be to defeat Coryphipants, and for a protagonist that is only a small part of the bigger picture, I think they did pretty well keeping it interesting. At least for me, anyway.

While I think that Hawke is a particularly tough act to follow, the problem with Shepard is that s/he gets saddled by a plethora of really stupid lines, made worse by the fact that we are increasingly unable to avoid them, which have made the character age very very poorly in comparison to either Hawke or the Inquisitor for me.

Yeah.
I personally don't consider the Inquisitor boring, at least sarcastic quizzy is a bit more entertaining since she can have great lines. I consider her on par with Shep (sometimes better than Shep). Hawke on the other hand, beats both due to having more intense personalities. Diplo/Humorous/Aggro. (humorous Hawke is top, that's a nobrainer for me)
Most boring would be the Warden. No emotions, nothing. Warden would fit more with people who like RP their character to 100%, i'm simply not one of them.

Fair point. I remember ME2 had a similar issue at the cost of Shepard's personality: the game focused so much on the squadmates and Shepard suffered as a result, leaving the character oddly disconnected from the player at times. Still, overall, I prefer Shep to the Inquisitor, if only on the basis of emotional connection. In Inquisition the focus in on the Inquisition as a whole, and getting it to the strength it needs to be to defeat Coryphipants, and for a protagonist that is only a small part of the bigger picture, I think they did pretty well keeping it interesting. I think the Warden is a tough comparison considering they aren't voiced (and thus lack emotion). That being said, I was able to connect with my Dalish Warden more easily than with my Dalish quizzy. I couldn't tell you why; it just is.Most boring would be the Warden. No emotions, nothing. Warden would fit more with people who like RP their character to 100%, i'm simply not one of them.

The only Warden I found I could really connect with was the human noble, primarily because this is the only one that has a proper revenge story toward a major antagonist in the game. The city elf deserves a mention though.

Oh, I see. Well, best of luck writing it!
As boring as Quizzy is claimed to be, no protagonist made me facepalm as hard as Shepard did.
What did Shepard do?
I thought Shepard was boring tbh
Boring? Well, I'll just politely disagree here...
They did a lot of stuff. And if you played a FemShep... Great.
I think Mark Meer made the mistake of sounding too... neutral. In case you were a Paragon or Renegade - for the sake of not sounding like a total Paragon if you played a complete Renegade while picking certain option. I think Mrs. Hale got that a bit better.

Ohhhh, scary herb!
Wait, it's working!
Modded Sera in the DLC with all her freckles is just adorbs! Even with the "determined" expression everyone has when not at the hold.
Sorry, but... I still prefer vanilla.
