?? like what
well leg armor comes immediately to mind
Isabela didn't have any either.
Let us not look to DA2 for proper armor design....
I was trying to figure out the same thing?? like what

Isabela had thigh high leather boots though. This girl has only knee high.
However, she does have her outer thighs protected by plate.

"Isabela Has No Pants, Isabela Needs No Pants"
Old but good meme from DA2.

Lmfao I'm just saying! Mages don't either ![]()

True, but this is only concept art as well. I'm sure it would've been at least a little different in-game.

her femoral artery is very exposed, chainmail isn't long enough for any real protection, her right arm lacks all armor found on the left
This is also a game where you can get picked up and punched like a body bag by an Ogre and not end up in a coma.
Or chewed on by a dragon and spit out.
Or etc etc etc.
Still yes the armor is to fanservicey for me.

Leg armor and clevage protection.
The rest is purely taste, and all of mine rebells against that...thing. But it's okay, since that is (early) Merril, not Sera.
Deleted...
I've explained this before, but that concept wasn't Sera, nor was it an early Merrill design.
That concept was one of four nameless, storyless characters that was used to help create a standard visual design during the transition from DAO to DA2. Wasn't meant to be anyone specifically, just to serve a placeholder function.
One of the four designs, originally called "biker mage" eventually became Hawke. That should tell you how early in the process this was; Hawke didn't exist as a character yet.
The design apparently carried over in it's placeholder function into the DAI concept art. It's possible that at one time it was attached to Sera, but they seem to have moved on from that.
I don't think so, I've seen her in concept art with Seekers and the Inquisitor

I like Sera how she is now in the OP's pic tbh and i'm glad she doesn't look like in the above pic (if she was intended to look like this at first).
*nods* Gotcha, unfortunately I found it labeled as Sera. Sorry for the disruption! Nothing to see here, folks! I'm very much keeping "her" as my avatar though.I've explained this before, but that concept wasn't Sera, nor was it an early Merrill design.

?? like what
1. When somebody says "If you cover your ass the rest will sort itself out" this was not ment to apply to armor design.
2. Isabella has more leg protection with her boots that the Elf pictured.
3. While in pitched Combat Earings are ill advised
4. Her upper torso and back are not covered by her armor
5. She only has about five or six arrows, which she's going to burn through in less than a minute
6. If she's right handed the arm thingy wouldn't protect her wrist from the bow string
7. The area below her Stomach is not protected, like at all.
8. From the look of it She's either on her toes, or wearing heals. Both of which are bad ideas.

So.... Short hair then?
So.... Short hair then?
It does look like short hair. However, in the brief distant shot we get of her, it looks to me like she could have a bun, or a small amount if hair tied back.

I thought she had a ponytail at first. Then I took another look and decided it was just either the string or shadow of her bow.

Good point. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
