With all this height discussion, I must ask, who's going to romance Sera with a qunari?

I tend to always play human first, I want to see how my human noble is going to get Sera to warm up to her. I will play all races and mix it up between Sera and Josie.

Female Human is always my head canon but I also want to see how Sera makes an exception since she hates nobles

I also found Merrill's romance awkward, but only a bit. Except for the sex scene, where I actually saw how thin her arms and body is.

 

I have a younger sister, and she is the only thing I was reminded of when I saw Merrill in that scene.

 

I'm never romancing her again, I think.

 

Haha, I'm as scrawny as Merril so her size didn't bother me. Shes super sweet to, she gives you those puppy eyes and I can't resist. I just know shes doing it on purpose to get her way but I can't help it.

 

I'll just say as a straight guy I'll probably still have Sera in the party since she seems to have a sense of humor. I loved the banter between Varric and Isabela and I want to see what Varric + Sera can produce. I'll probably do a Feminquisitor + Sera rommance playthrough eventually because I play DA games a ridiculous amount of times.

 

Reading the BSN is a little odd since you get the feeling people only including champions if their going to romance them. I never romance Alastair but I often had him in my party because hes amusing.

Yeah. I almost always disassociate romancing a character from having her in my party. Part of that is necessity - Traynor - but part of it's just that I genuinely like most if not all of the companions, both for banter and gameplay, and taking advantage of that and experiencing all of their content is important to me.

Not everyone is going to pursue her with a qunari. I'll be romancing her with a very young and mischievous Dalish elf who likes to play mind games with the Shems and focuses on using her spy network more than her military or commerce because she wants to bring the info back to her clan someday. Somewhat ironically, she'll be excellent at playing "The Game" because of this. She's one of my few characters who hasn't changed since the last romance reveals.

So how tall do you think Sera is? I was looking at the last supper photo and she appears to be slightly taller than Cass and nearly as tall as Solas. Where's my ruler when I need it.

 

She def seemed tall in that picture but I'm not sure how accurate that is going to be in game.

Nothing for sure yet. I think it'd be an interesting characteristic for her to have though, and it would mean my elf inquisitor would be the short one in the relationship, lol.

Wonder if Sera tough enough to survive the famous brew of Oghren? Based off backgrounds seems like shed hit it off the qunari and dwarfs.  Birds of a feather them criminals. Really half hoping someone can throw her.
