Most of the posters there made fun of the OP (who seems to have disappeared) or raged at him. I'm surprised it's still open though.

Is there another 'Sera won't date my male inquisitor, she's a terrible person.' thread? I wish people would stop making stupid threads. Seriously, just play as a woman and romance her already.

Oops was that my mistake? I played it straight. I will replay this so hopefully I'll get that moment again and be able to enjoy it. I've got the gist of it from Danielle.

Hakkon was overall a ton more difficult with fights. And while the ice dragon fight was pretty tough, I found the level 30 desire demon group to be the hardest of them all.

Level 30 desire demon group?!!! When is that DLC coming to the PS4? Gimme gimme!

I'm pretty sure they meant Despair Demons. There is a group on some island in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC. They are evil and wiped my entire party in a minute flat.

You don't have that much longer to wait!

Don't underestimate how hard fights will be in the DLC.

Now for some new eyecandy!

I think that the OP is something of a clod, but I'm completely for an all-bisexual romance roster.

I'm curious as to how much a difference the hefty cold resistance you can build over the course of the game makes. I practically built Skyhold atop the corpses of a thousand bears and went through the Temple of Pride so I can get zapped, burned, frozen and haunted and come out on top. I refuse to let these ice-spitting death eaters do me in!

Sounds like Mark of the Rift might finally come in handy for once.

For once? That thing's been my handy green screw you move throughout Thedas. Heck it even puts dragons in slow-mo.

My Artificer has Hail Of Arrows and Assassins don't need it (probably why they got such a crap focus ability), so I tend not to use it.
Or if things go really badly I have Varric or Sera to fall back on.

It's never about need; it's always about heaping as much crap on the enemy as I can. It never hurts to add a few kilos to the anvil I drop on the bad guy's head.

It does make a bit of a difference but you should really collect all the shards and open the shard door in the DLC before you take on the last two bosses. They were pretty tough for me, even with the added cold resistance from the shard door. I was playing on Nightmare, but had to turn the difficulty down to normal for the bosses. I find that the DLC is quite a bit harder than the vanilla game.

That's why I roll three rogues. There's no kill like overkill. :D

I wouldn't mind traveling with lots of rogues, but I can't ignore all the class-specific stuff littered throughout the game. I must always have all three classes in my party at all times, because there's always some veilfire thing or some other magical thing that needs to be energized, a wall to kick through as well as a lock to pick. It doesn't happen often, but some quests can't even be completed without a certain class in your party, like sealing the darkspawn tunnels, which only mages can do.

Sounds good. ^_^

I'm more interested in some good fights than anything story related although a few people who's opinions I trust say the story's not bad.

I usually end up going back to them.

Rogue is my favourite class in part because I'm a shameless kleptomaniac.

I adore the greater mobility afforded to this class, along with the huge damage dealing. It makes my character seem like some sort of lethal scoundrel. Mages benefit a bit from Fade Step, but it's not the same. Like, when approaching a group in some decrepit great hall, I love being able to do a dive over a railing and join the fray, and jump back or go into stealth and stick an enemy in the back. Plus, it's the only one in this game, other than the Knight-Enchanter, that serves well as both a melee and ranged attacker which makes them extra versatile (less so because of the lack of on-the-fly weapon switching), though to be fair, this is because of the unfair restriction put on warriors, since they were able to be archers in Origins, and crossbows other than Bianca actually existed.
