No, it's not odd. She herself doesn't like having an elf lover that much for reasons. But she's fine of lady elves loving other ladies. Just like how she approves of that scout who bedded the mage (was she an elf?).
Nothing weird with that.
Josie is smart, cute, has a beautiful face and all but doe, her romance bores me to death tbh. Not enough drama, not much interesting dialogue, not much humor etc.
Sera has all that, and more. Gurl is a wild ride.
Well, I can't deny that Sera's romance is a lot more engaging than Josephine's. Elf shenanigans aside, it's probably my favorite romance in the game and even beats out Leliana's, somewhat (obviously, there can be no equal to Merrill).

Right, it just creates the odd image of an elf Inquisitor who's interested in Sera wooing her by flirting with Harding (something I kinda needed to do with the underpowered flirts at my disposal, and allying with the mages).

I liked flirting with Scout Harding. She is so adorable. I think it is hilarious that Sera approves of flirting with Harding. I think it would have been great if they had added additional content for someone who had flirted lots with her in JoH. I wish she would have given Inky a kiss or something.

Flirting and pursuing a romance are not mutually inclusive. One can happen while the other is in progress, and flirting doesn't necessarily mean "i want a date"!

On the topic of Sera's approval of flirting with Harding, that made sense to me. I think Sera simply likes seeing that the Inquisitor is willing and able to be warm and friendly with his/her charges.

I could never bring myself to put any points in her dagger skills. She's pretty much like Varric in how their archery/weapon feels like an inextricable part of their character. I can go either way with Cole, though my only real motivation for sticking with daggers for him is that a bow clips through his big ass hat, as well as any particularly long daggers.

This is what I think. Sera likes it if you do the pranks, as it makes you less of an icon, and more of a person. She may see the flirting with Harding as the same thing.

Anyways, this does beg the question as to what gay marriage means to the peasantry who don't have to deal with any inheritance issues. I mean, you could propose to Sera in a half-joking manner so their might be precedent for it.
Hmm. Now I'm thinking about Sera getting to the Inquisitor. By the Maker would that be something to behold.
