Well, you could go troll some other forum. Just a suggestion.

Also, EA isn't just the "publisher", they outright own BioWare and all of its IP. BioWare IS EA since after ME1 was published.

Wait what? BIOWARE IS EA?

YMMV?

I know right? It means your mileage may vary, but frak if I could determine that just by reading the sentence before it, but I guess ymmv.

Oh that scene, bah. Sounds so much worst out of context. lol

Well, what she said wasn't remotely like the paraphrase... but yes, that wasn't as bad.

I guess she defines "elfy" as something other than caring about and wanting to uplift one's people?

That's probably one way of looking at it, yes.

Lets be honest, Sera is right about Dalish. Most of them turn a blind eye to "flat ears".

Argh, I wish that the options for the Mythal fight weren't so damn clumsy. Hell, why can't you just remind her that the Old Gods are a historically confirmable thing and that this sort of thing is hardly new?

No more than the humans and city elves turn said eye to "heathens." With the human eye being more frequently murderous.

The old gods are not a historically conformable thing. Just because the chantry and their chant of bull**** says the archdemons are old gods, does not make it true.

Tevinter itself said right away that Dumat was an Old God when that archdemon rose, long before the Chantry did.

I'm sure someone can say "tell that to humans killed by Dalish bandits". Dragon Age - the setting where everyone is a jerk. I suppose that does make it realistic.

I know. I'm really not a fan of that whole conversation. So much drama with nothing you can do about it.

Here's the whole scene.

I just love the confession scene. I love all of Sera's raw emotion. It shows that she has come to love the inquisitor and is a little scared of her feelings as well as being afraid of losing her. She cares a lot but has trouble expressing her feelings. I think that this scene is one of the best in all of the romances. Sera's voice actor did a fantastic job showing the emotional turmoil through Sera's tone. I also love the 'Honey Tongue' part.

I can say a volcano explodes because a god is angry. It does not make it true. We also know the elven "gods" were real and some might still exist. As powerful as they might be it does not confirm they are actually gods. Perhaps increasingly powerful elven mages? Hard to say. As I always say, if a "God" can be killed, or needs to be worshiped for that matter, its not a god.

So shouldn't Sera have as many problems with humans?

Well, given that the sentinels at the temple outright admit the true state of the Creators, I have no idea why agreeing with them is considered a breakup-worthy offense.

I also would say that it's not a god if it never does a damn thing.

I'll agree with the faceless men from game of thrones. There is only one god, and its miracle always happens. ;)

Real Gods or not, I'm interested a lot about them, and if and how the Old Gods are related to the elven gods.
Flemeth's knowledge of the DR isn't a coincidence.

She should, shouldn't she. But I think Sera for the most part just lumps snooty humans and elves together. Though humans tend not to tell her shes not being elfy enough. Wheres your concern for your own people, etc..........must be rather grating.

Yes, it does seem like these archdemons might hold the souls of old eleven gods? Maybe? Infinitely the soul of something old and powerful. I have hoped since Origins that they would explore more about the "creators" and boy did they finally deliver.

I tend to agree with Solas on the whole elven god thing. He says that he believes that they existed, but doesn't believe that they were actually gods. I think that they were probably just really powerful, immortal mages. That is one of the reasons why I don't like to drink from The Well of Sorrows. 'Bound to Mythal for eternity' still seems pretty bad, even if she is/wasn't a god.

I do wonder if the Old Gods are the Forgotten ones of the elven mythology.

Sounds worst to be bound to a false god. As for the creators being powerful immortal mages, it makes you think perhaps the way thedas currently is, with the veil separating the fade and the physical world, might be a result of the fall of the creator gods. Especially since the big bads plan was basically to merge both realms together. We assume they are naturally separated but perhaps they were not. What if the Creators were so powerful because the fade and the physical world were combined originally.

Well, we got the name of one Forgotten one so maybe not. It sounds like the forgotten ones may have been powerful opposition to the creators.

Yeah, I searched the wiki and there actually four mentioned.
Well, I think We'll definitely know more in the future, Regardless if in a dlc or a new game. After all it's likely we'll visit the North in the next game.

Some thoughts about Sera's religious beliefs,

1)  Being religious is a new thing for her.  I think she had a lot of doubts about the Maker/Chantry stuff before joining the Inquisition.  She joined up partly to see for herself if the Andraste's Herald thing was true.

2)  During most of the game, there are some events that would have cemented those beliefs.  First, all the stuff that happens to the Herald and how they miraculously seem to survive.  Then you have the existence of the ancient magister who assaulted the Black City (and the Maker's seat that needs a butt).

Because of these reasons, I see her reacting poorly to what happened at Mythal relative to other Andrastians (like Cassandra or Leliana).  Her faith is something that's new to her and it started coming about after she actually saw some evidence that it all could be "really real" (whereas, Cassandra has had faith all her life even without any Herald of Andraste or Corypheshizzle).  But now here we have the Temple of Mythal and it seems like that stuff could be "really real" too and Sera doesn't know what to believe.  I still think Sera just wants to hear it's all nonsense even if she knows the Inquisitor is lying.  Though, it's really only a problem if the Inquisitor is an elf.  My guess is Sera's sure the elven Inquisitor will eventually reject her if more of the "elfy stuff" turns out to be true.
