Took me longer than I'm proud of to work that out.

Don't sweat it, if you hang around me enough you'll decipher em quick. It's just a bad habit I have, can't stop myself. ![]()

I have been wanting a good human/elf pairing in DA for a while, I didn't like Zevran or Fenris (plus I don't romance males) and Merril's was...awkward so yeah
That's cool, nobody likes Fenris. Crawling in my skin!
well he was pkay to be a friend with but nothing more lol
My gf romanced Fenris and he seemed pretty cool, Merrill was...uncomfortable. I gave up on her halfway, and was mortified she came to my house and had to put her down so bad not to sleep with her. It was strange because until that point she didn't seem to acknowledge your flirts at all.
I've heard Merril's rivalmance is the better than her friendmance
imo Fenris was too emo
This is beautiful.
wow i go off the boards for a few days, come in here and there is no drama since i was gone. i love it so much.

Well clearly the drama was your fault. <--Dat logic.

well played
never any real serious drama in the Sera thread lol, ever since it was confirmed she wasn't race gated there hasn't been any need for it
i know hence why i love it in here

I... I like Fenris. He's the only DA2 romance option I'll romance. Unless I'm rivalmancing Merrill.
Well, there was a big fight back in June when she was announced as a lesbian, but the situation is really calm right now.never any real serious drama in the Sera thread lol, ever since it was confirmed she wasn't race gated there hasn't been any need for it
kind of off topic but kind of not but thinking about Sera being the first female companion who is only interested in women made me think of something, doesn't it seem that most female companions in past games who were Bi seemed to prefer females? Now the exception is Merrill who shows as much interest no matter what the gender of Hawke is, if Hawke is male than Merrill is straight, if Hawke is female she is lesbian but I can remember 1 time for both Leliana and Isabela that might show they both prefer women over men.
Leliana- Players claim a male warden has to make the first move on Leliana for her to show interest when it is Leliana who makes the first move when its a female warden.
Isabela- In the Mark of the Assassin DLC players claim that Isabela will not get jealous over a male hawke if he flirts with tallis, yet she gets jealous over a female hawke.
Now its late here and I might just be over thinking things but just thought this was interesting, once again sorry for going off topic

never tried this, cause it never made sense to me how two people who cant agree can get romantically involved

Actually, Merrill (and Fenris) are bisexual reguardless of Hawke's gender. Just because they don't make it obvious, like Isabela, it doesn't mean they're not bisexual. If you play a Lady Hawke mage, however, it's pretty clear. She's not opposed to Carver flirting with her and makes several comments in Act III about Qunari being 'easy on the eye'.
I never saw Isabela as being close to preferring women, she hardly talks about women sexually, especially if Bethany isn't in the party or flirts with any female characters either, is not so true for men though. It actually annoyed me abit that she & Carver started to flirt with each other in the Legacy DLC, right in front of my female Hawke who was romancing her

I'm sure there are bisexuals in RL who have a slight preference for one gender over another, they still enjoy both of course but one a lil more than the other. I can't comment much on bisexuals, I'm not one but I have pals who are and yup they fit into this.
As for those examples erm Leliana yup slightly prefers women more, always felt that. Isabella erm maybe men more though and Merrill well she's pretty ambiguous at the best of times. Can't really say.

Oh she does?
I don't remember that. I think she just likes to flirt.
What really annoyed me over Izzy was her going off with Zevran when you're in a romance with her. First time that happened I dropped her after that, went to Merrill then. Like really you have to forbid her not to, come now, that's just straight up disrespectful. Ick open romances no thank you. ![]()

If it's previously discussed and agreed on, then it's ok. Otherwise? It's cheating.
