I decided to break up with her in the scene where she had the dream and..... NOPE. That's got to be the saddest one, IMO. Quizzy breaks up with her and she tries to reach her by calling her with the nickname she chose for her... jaysus. Never again.

Justification
Sera's pretty much at the core of my Inquisitor's inner circle along with Cass and Dorian. Without her it feels totally gutted.
That's pretty much the only party I go out with (unless they force me to go with someone).
I don't care if you would have liked to have seen the Grey Warden stuff, Blackwall! Be happy I let you know about it at all!

Sera (always in group), Solas and Bull has been my party for my entire current run (Lavellan Mage), Sera and Bull have some of the funniest banter together. But, just recently I started hearing Bull and Solas playing a game of chess in banter, and Solas is losing! lol
And Blackwall can just be happy that I don't throw his ass off the top of the keep.

Why? Not only is Cole a great character, but he does more damage than anyone else in the game (he just has to be babysat when it comes to fighting anyone with melee AOE attacks).

What I meant is I feel his inclusion to my preferred balance is redundant/unnecessary. I typically prefer no more than one Rogue who is an archer, a role that is fulfilled by Sera.

Fair enough. Rogues are sort of the... well, it seems to me like they're the least useful class overall in this game, given the greater emphasis on defense and the fact that rogues are the only ones who can't protect people aside from themselves.

Well, I would say Rogues are simply highly skill-dependent. Obviously, the game AI doesn't do the class justice in this department. But in the right hands, a Rogue is exceptionally effective in this game. (I beat Nightmare as an archer myself.)

And I think Warriors are the least useful class overall. My builds for Sera (and my human archer) kill bosses so fast that no warrior even gets to the battle before what ever it is is already falling over dead.

And I can't bother making Cole an archer too, because with Sera, Varric and now my own Assassquisitor as one I'm well over capacity. As for damage, I'm not sure about that. I took a stroll over to the Sandy Howler, and before Iron Bull and Dorian could do anything, my Assassin and little Tempest went to town and the damn thing didn't even have time to summon its dragonlings. I got a kick out of giving it a wake up call with a jar of bees XD
I do take Cole around on occasion, but seldom for any main story stuff.
On a separate note, I'm not a fan of Cole's banter. He can't seem to talk about anything that isn't the result of his rooting around in their heads and it gets kind of tiresome. Also, he makes Sera change the pet names because he airs their meaning so I can't have that lol.

Heh, yeah he wants to do good n stuff, but it's just too bad that pretty much all of his dialogue is speaking on other people's thoughts, at least before making him a "real boy". The part where I actually liked it was when he was talking about Corypheus.

I like archer rogue with assassin, and of course theres nothing better than Rift Mage (cuz I like to blow shite up!)

I think my favorite thing about shield bash is when busting into Keeps, but my absolute favorite is when Cassandra makes a comment about knocking on the door when you raid Griffon Wing Keep in the Western Approach. That said, explosive shot from two archers does the job well also.
